ive lived in a tick infested woodland for 1.5years with my 2 dogs
here is my advice

nothing is as good as visual check
nothing works 100% (topical or internal)
ticks are fierce and many

EFFECTIVE: search and remove ticks before 24 hours, no risk of disease if removed soon
be vigilant and thorough with grooming and search daily everywhere, get a fine comb

i’ve tried EVERYTHING and everything is only a partial repellent, i have tried:

- sound device ‘tickless’ * = ineffective ticks embedded next to emitter (keep your money)
- coconut oil application good for fleas but not so good for ticks, can help repel ticks *
- acv application helps repel *
- essential oils helps repel *
- diatomaceous earth powder topical application helps repel *
- yarrow powder or infusion application helps repel *
- neem oil helps repel *
- garlic in food helps repel *
- acv in food / water helps repel *
(* still found ticks = EVERYTHING)

As a Homeopath, Naturopath and Complimentary Alternative Medicine Practitioner I refuse to and don’t use toxic tick/flea medications they poison the blood of the animal as well as the flea/tick/parasite

i treat tick bites homeopathically with
1/ ledum
2/ naturopathic isopathy and make tick bite homeopathic remedy, i offer training and a book on how to do this
