Everybody Loves Roxy Roxy was a tiny hen with dwarfism, epilepsy and cover girl looks. She lived for 10 months and touched many lives. A book about Roxy is in the works.

Roxy was an incredible little chicken. Stunted in growth and living with epilepsy, she had an incredible heart and was full of love for everyone she ever met. She only lived for 10 months and in that time she touched many people with her beauty and personality. Roxy was an ambassador for chickens as pets, and the official mascot of the Chickens As Pets community here on Facebook. She remains so. R

oxy is remembered, and always will be. She showed us that chickens are intelligent, loving creatures when treated with love and respect and care. Roxy taught her friend, Chickens As Pets author Andrew Hinkinson, a great deal in her short life. After her death, the book he plans about her fight for life will hopefully continue the work Roxy started in showing the world that chickens are the greatest pets and make wonderful friends as well.
