I'm so sorry that I have been MIA for so long!!
We are all ok.. I was just dealing with some mental health issues and working so much!!

We have missed you all and I will definitely try to post more often, so nobody worries.

Here's a video of the boys getting new catnip toys today....

So Bacon is now 13 and has been living with lymphoma for 2.5 years... Sunshine is guessed to be 10... Wembley is 8... and baby Rupert just turned 5!!

How time flies!!

But they are doing great!
I wouldn't survive without their love!

I know people have been worried about us.
I'm so sorry!!
We are all fine... just dealing with some stressors..

Bacon is still kicking cancers ass.. and Sunshine, Wembley, and Rupert are doing wonderful.
They all are my sanity in times of stress.

So almost a year ago, my spicy little Bacon Bits was diagnosed with lymphoma... I had no idea what the future would hold or if he would be around for his next birthday...

But here we are!!
Sir Francis Bacon turns 12 years old today and is doing better than ever!!! 🥓
I love you so much, my sweet boy!!! 🥰
You just keep kicking ass and taking names! 💪

Bacon Update:

Dr Rippy, Bacon's oncologist, cannot believe how fantastic he is doing on the new medication. She said that Bacon's liver enzymes normalized quicker than she has ever seen!!

So Bacon's liver enzymes are now NORMAL and his immune system is fantastic!
We are continuing with his daily prednisolone and ursodiol, weekly B12 injections, and chlorambucil every 2 weeks.

We follow up with our regular vet in 2 weeks and 4 weeks just to check his WBCs.. and follow up with his oncologist in 6 weeks.

I'm SO proud of how my sweet Bakie Bits has adapted to this schedule of taking meds, getting shots, and getting bloodwork every 2 weeks!!

And I cannot thank his medical team enough... especially Dr Rippy at VCA Aurora and Dr Lahosit at VCA Worth!!

So Bacon has earned a new harness... since he has been wearing Gizmo's hand-me-down every time we go out...

Please help us choose... 😍🥰
