Once again Mrs. Yang and her followers have chosen to prey upon people's naivety with yet another demand for funding due to yet another collapsed roof, etc. presenting yet more pictures and videos of derelict buildings Mrs. Yang claims to use as dog shelters.
No matter how much money has been donated to Mrs. Yang, it is like a black hole. Despite all the promises, the buildings always seem to remain in the same state of disrepair as those presented to us for at least the last eight years. That is, totally unfit to keep dogs.
What is really going on here? We must discern between what we are being presented with and what is the real aim behind Mrs. Yang's campaigns for funding? She claims to be a 'safe haven' for dogs - calling herself "Tianjin Animal Safe Haven" but would you allow your animals to stay in places where the roof collapses? Safe my arse.
Where are all the vast sums of money that have been sent to Mrs. Yang from all over China and the rest of the world in the last 20 years? Genuine animal rescuers are more than happy to provide accounts of what they have done with the donations they have received and show improvements to the shelter and the dogs they have rescued.
The comparison of what Mrs. Yang does with the work of other animal rescuers and shelters - even in the poorest of places - will reveal the difference between a genuine animal sanctuary and a stage prop hellhole for dogs being used to get a never-ending gravy train of funds coming their way. Have you seen through the illusion here?
Compare Mrs. Yang's germ-ridden and filthy derelict buildings that never improve and never will improve and all the sick dogs there with genuine animal safe havens. No matter how much money Mrs. Yang is given her 'safe havens' will still be unsafe in ten years' time.
Moreover, what has really happened to all the 40,000 dogs that Mrs. Yang herself has repeatedly boasted on video she has rescued and kept safe? Especially as she doesn't now and never has adopted dogs out nor allowed other rescuers to take them on. Why?
People have witnessed dogs being brought into Mrs. Yang's various holding centres and have seen many dogs being moved in cages at night when it's safe and no one is watching. Where did all those thousands of dogs go?
Is it possible that many animal activists have been duped into supporting and funding a dog meat trade trafficker? Someone who runs a holding centre and pays for dogs delivered to them whether stolen or found on the street and then sells them on to their many local dog meat restaurants? Is that why Mrs. Yang appears so many times in her photographs and videos on the telephone?
Does that sound like a safe haven to you? Would you be willing to hand over your pet dog or cat to Mrs. Yang? Come on, be honest.
We put it to the reader that Mrs. Yang never had and never will have the slightest intention whatsoever of wasting any of the money given to her on creating a safe haven for dogs that are condemned to die anyway.
Further, we suggest dogs that go to Mrs. Yang's so-called shelter are never rehomed nor rescued and are anything but safe when in fact their real destination is the butcher's knife.
