Thank you to the very kind neighborhood lady who gave us this container of fish sticks that her dog didn't like instead of throwing them away! And double thank you to Aunt Jen for actually talking to people and initiating the fish stick transfer because I never would have stopped to chat on my own, depriving Arrow of fish sticks forevermore.

I'm at the farm this weekend. When it's quiet and it seems like everyone is napping, then I hear a noise of *someone* getting into *something* elsewhere in the house... Without checking to see which dogs are near me, I know with 100% certainty which dog is being curious.

And so I call, "My dog! What are you doing that you're not supposed to?"

And Arrow comes trotting in from another room. And I give her pets because she left the fun stuff alone when I called. But now I have to go see what shenanigans she was up to.

After finding six live ticks in the house so far this season - and the second one gnawing on my scalp! - I just did a hatchet job on Arrow's leg-warmers. She picks up bugs like she's made of Velcro on walks, so let's see if that prevents any more bugs from getting inside the house before she gets groomed on Monday. If another tick bites me, I'm completely shaving her legs and tail!
