😭 please share this 10 yr old baby

**COURTESY POST**

Location: Tucson, AZ

Harley, spayed female, 10 yrs old, 30lbs

We are looking for a loving home for our fur baby, Harley. She is 10 years old and we have had her for 8/10 years. We recently welcomed our first baby into our home and after seeking professional help from a dog trainer, have concluded that she will be unsafe around an infant. She has a high prey drive that makes her unsuitable for homes with small children and small pets but she would be a great companion to an adult/adults. She has been living in our home with 3 other dogs including a german shepherd, german shepherd/corgi mix, and an australian shepherd mix and is usually the Alpha of the pack. She is relatively low maintenance, enjoys walks and hikes, and attention from her people. She also enjoys her alone time to hang out on her bed or chew a chew toy as she is slowing down with age.

We would love to discuss her history and personality further with someone who is willing to love our baby as much as we do. We would not be rehoming if it wasn't absolutely necessary. We are willing to travel to get her into a loving home, and will not accept anything less than that.

Harley is not an ACDRA Foster Dog. If you are interested in Harley or have questions, please email [email protected]

Trooper
Danville, KY

Hi Friends!!
My name is Trooper, well because I am a determined carefree "live life!" kind of guy so everyone tells me I am a real trooper. Not sure what that means actually, but I like it and as you will see I know it's my name when called! I am a young boy at only about one year old. I know, you are pausing while watching my video thinking I am missing something right???? Yup, I only have three legs, but it does not slow me down, in fact my person says it makes me much more fun! I was born with a short leg and the doctors said it wasn’t really ever going to work for me and it was slowing down my mobility a bit so they decided I might be better with just three!

I had a rough start in life as I was part of a litter living not so ideal conditions in WV and I was the odd man out so I was left behind when my siblings were adopted. As you can see I really like other dogs, so a home with another canine sibling will be okay but I could also do just fine being your one and only as I really like pets and attention, I even like the little humans that will pet me, are up to a good game of tug and will throw a ball for me.

I also really like to be outside playing with the toys and just running around in the grass. I walk well on a leash, I am potty trained and I am crate trained; but I won’t lie, the crate is not my favorite place to be so I will sometimes give you a bit of attitude going in. If you leave the door open for me though and I am tired, I will go in and take a nap on my own.

I really do like treats and will work hard for them. I do get a bit testy when other canines approach my crate when I am eating and my person says this is something you need to know and will still need monitoring and a little working on. If you are human you can reach in and take the food right out of my mouth, I just don’t want to share with any other dogs, they get their own bowl! As you can see I am not perfect in every way, but I am loyal and would really love to be a part of your family to provide endless snuggles, walks, and adventures together.

If you think I might be the right boy for you email [email protected] with any questions you have, or submit an application: https://www.acdra.org/adoption-application. Can’t wait to meet you!!!

Hi all, one of Troopers humans here. He is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He is a really good boy that deserves a family of his own. Trooper spent a few weeks learning some basic manners with a trainer who will be happy to chat with you as well to answer any questions you may have. He is currently being fostered in Danville, KY.
