Dog Wanted
We are looking for a psychiatric service dog candidate between 1, and 3 years of age. We are open to a variety of breeds, and coat types. The dog must be 40 lbs or larger.
Must haves:
- A calm, confident personality.
- Socialized to dogs, and people including children.
- No history of reactivity or aggression.
- Environmentally stable in a variety of different situations.
- Willingness to work/train.
- Good food drive.
- Loves petting, and affection.
No previous obedience training is required. The dog will be professionally trained to meet the MSAR public access standards. The dog will be accompanying a 15 year old to high school, and later college/university or work.
