So today was another adventure to Grandma's house. Casanova and Bruce were loaded into the car and after about a mile everyone settled in for the 27 minute ride. (Yes I timed it) We all arrived with no accidents. The real fun begins when Bruce is let out of his carrier and precedes to go under Grandma's couch. At some point he discovered he could climb up under the outer covering and into the back of the couch. I searched for 20 minutes only to hear a faint cry when I walked passed the sofa. Turning it over to realize my arms were to short to reach him and he wasn't coming out. Choice words were spoken, threats were made, a stick was used and NOPE, he wasn't budging. I tipped the couch back and there he was. I grabbed him as he wiggled and put him in the bedroom.
I thought Goldie tried my patience, but ding, ding, ding Bruce won this round. 44 minutes. OMGoodness!

I visited the grandparents today. I don't like car rides. But I like Grandma's white furniture. I can leave my fur so she remembers me!

Momma is making a baby blanket for a shower gift and I have been messing with her yarn and just being a little poo. So momma gave me my own piece of yarn. BTW does this bow make my buns look fat.....lol

Goldie left this world close to 3 years ago. Recently another kitty has adopted us. His name is Bruce and I know Goldie sent him to me. He has so many of her little quirks and he is (in my opinion) around a year old. But oh my, he is something else. He does not understand my affinity for all things Winter and Christmas. I hope the Christmas tree makes it through the season.

I cannot be sure, but I believe Goldie sent the kitty hanging around our yard to me. Bruce talks to me and jumps in my lap and curls up and purrs like she did. He makes missing her a little bit better.

Crazy

There is never a good time to say goodbye to a furbaby. But it especially hard when you have only had 5 years with them. Our sweet baby, Goldie gained his wings this morning. He wandered to our yard 5 1/2 years ago and taught me patience and perseverance. During the time we have had our issues (with him winning most battles) and he taught me that a full size bed is not big enough for 1 human and 1 bengal kitty. He earned the nicknames of chatty catty and bed bug. But from day one it was evident I was his human. He was jealous of anyone who garnered my attention, especially our Goddaughter. Today I felt him leave this world to a place where cancer cannot hurt him any longer. Somewhere that has an endless supply of treats. As much as my heart us breaking, I am so thankful I did not give up on him in the beginning. Rest now Goldie. Momma will always love you.
