In our first 5 years we have been successful in rescuing and finding 5 star loving homes for about 700 cats and Kittens. Once settled in their forever homes we take pleasure in receiving news from Mitzi 'graduates'. We will move mountains to help a puss cat in trouble, often rescued from difficult/dangers situations and sometimes very poorly. Respected by local vets and with a large following of supporters the health & wellbeing of Mitzi’s kitties comes first. Consequently, our vet bills can be enormous. We are dependent on the generosity of our team, supporters and the 5-star cat lovers who adopt our kitties. Our guidance for adopting an adult kitty is £70 and a kitten £110, although we are very happy to receive more – all donations will go straight towards our vet and food bills. FOREVER HOME ‘MEWS’. POSTCARD FROM MITZI GRADUATE LILY (nee Tilly). (Received last Saturday)
‘It’s has been exactly a year since Lily came to brighten our lives. She is the dearest little cat imaginable. Her purry joy to see each new day and say hello to us in the morning touches our hearts.
She loves roaming the meadows and climbing trees and telegraph poles but she is intensely sociable and stays in close touch, coming to bop her head on our hands in greeting. She is no threat to the chickens, although she does enjoy chasing Enid [a forgiving chicken] on occasion.
In the evening after dinner she annexes my computer chair or sleeps on a pile of shawls on a bedroom cupboard. She is playful and gentle and happy, and every day we are grateful you e-mailed us about her - life without her is unthinkable. She has numerous nicknames including Pook, Pookenstein, Tinkerbell, Utterly-Nutterly and Lilypad.

STILL WAITING its amazing that these two easygoing, affectionate brothers Maple and Pomme are still waiting for their special person. Great characters with a touch of class. 😻😻. Ps they are still living with their owner so as to limit the disruption of bringing them into care. BUT they need a home soon as the landlord is making a fuss.
Mitzi welcomes these two aristo’cats’ Maple and Pomme (3). These lovely boys have alot of Devon Rex in their family tree. They are very gentle loving puss cats. Their owner has to part with them because her landlord will not allow her to have pets - all very sad.
They live in town. Maple is very much the cat about town, very confident, struts about charming passers by. He spends a lot of his time out and about but likes a cuddle and sitting on your shoulder.
Pomme, is probably Maple's brother. He is know to have a very magical air about him. While he is incredibly timid, he is very loving, very vocal and is very much a lap cat. Will spend most of his time indoors with his human.
They are in good health, neutered and all their vaccinations. They are not used to children or other pets. They would like a safe home were they will get lots of attention and be treated like the princes they are. So a purrrfect opportunity to welcome a pair of loving 'pin up' boys.

NEW ARRIVAL this gorgeous young fella Simpson (2) is looking for a new loving home. As you can see he’s quite an Aristo’cat’ with a BSH pedigree. He has been neutered and is in good health.
Simpson is much-loved but his owner (who has had him since kitten hood) feels that he is not happy as an indoor (with cattio) puss. Simpson craves the chance to explore his surroundings and it would not be safe for him where he lives.
So we are going to find him the purrrfect home - a 5 star loving home that will enable him to venture outdoors in a large safe garden. He has a lovely nature, not a lap cat but an affectionate boy. GREAT NEWS. After 3 months in foster care Cookie has been offered a wonderful home. She will be going on Sunday. As Cookie is a very timid puss (with strangers) she will go for a one month trial to be sure she settles happily. Her foster mum Angie thinks the people and the home are ideal. As with care and time Cookie came out of her shell with Angie she feels confident that with a bit of kind understanding she should settle well and will enjoy the company of the lady’s resident friendly puss cat. We will all be thonking of her and wishing them the very best of luck.
Mitzi said goodbye yesterday to Bluebell and Talulah. She and all of us at Mitzi’s Kitty Corner wish them a very happy life together in their new forever home. We look forward to news as they settle. Thank you Sally for lovingly caring for them for the many months it took. But such a good home has made us all very happy.
A BIG WELCOME to Junior😻. (What shall we call her/him. During the Olympic Ceremony friday night I was contacted by one of our followers to say that a neighbour had found a little black kitten in their hedge (estimated as 2 weeks old?). Happy for the distraction 🤓 I asked the group ‘inner circle )n=10) for help.
Clearly they were also happy for this distraction as there were immediately several offers of transport, and several fostering offers. Within 15 minutes all was arranged. Kitten went straight to Dartvale Vets Totnes for treatment and sustenance (and allt of cuddles). She will go home with foster mum vet nurse Clare on monday.
As you can see here a meal was most welcome. What shall we call this cuttie? Given the context I quite fancy Olympia? What do you think?? .
FOREVER HOME ‘MEWS’. Postcard from Mitzi graduate Misty. (This darling girl had been part of a litter of feral kittens rescued last year. She was adopted by a lovely family who worked tirelessly to win her trust and make her feel safe. Their phenomenal success attests to the patience and kindness of the family. We are immensely greatful to cat lovers like this family for giving more ‘difficult’ kitties the chance to thrive and become key happy and loving members of the family.
‘ Hi Gill we have had our Misty almost a year now ….. She has now found the great outdoors and after a lot of persuasion had at last learnt to use the cat flap without us propping it open .
Still just as fussy with her food, but I think that might be something to do with her being feral - still turning down any posh food in preference to dare I say whiskas. As you can see she is well at home on the sofa and thankfully still loves a daily brush - bearing in mind she comes in wearing half the garden attached to that huge tail….. ‘😸😸😸😻

Good day. My name is Lullah, I am the black and white beauty and this is my bestie Bluebell; she is a British Blue. We are 13 years old. We have been given up with great sadness and through no fault of our own (we kept being attacked by a neighbor’s tom cat). We have lived together for our entire lives; so as you can imagine, coming to the rescue has been a bit of a wrench for us both. What makes matters worse is that we have been overlooked for almost 3 months!. We are being well looked after by our foster mum Sally but nothing quite beats a home to call your own. I am friendly, (not exactly a lap cat) but Bluebell is a bit more reserved. We are looking for a quiet home together with a kind adult cat lover or two who will give us plenty of time to adjust to more changes. We could possibly live with older gentle children. MITZI FUNDRAISER in Aid of Olive. Foster mum, Nikki has filled up her car with goodies for sale at the Exeter racecourse on Sunday afternoon 1-4. How about racing along say hello and grab a bargain. FOREVER HOME MEWS; POSTCARD FROM MITZI GRADUATE ETHEL: DAY 2: 'It's going great! She's so lovely, settled in so fast came out of her carrier as soon as we opened it last night. Took her around an hour or two to feel comfortable but once she did she was climbing all over us and playing! She's been purring constantly and always wanting cuddles She's so cheeky and affectionate we love her so much already 🥰 I'll attach some photos here.
We are pleased to announce that Enid gave birth to one, very big gorgeous tabby boy on Thursday evening. Its unusual to give birth to a singleton but all went well and mother and son are very happy. He is in the very best position to have full access to his own private milk bar… We are going to find a very appropriate name for this special solo boy. You may have noticed that all of Enid’s 3 generations have names beginning with ‘E’. (Which has created several embarrassing ‘elder moments’ for me) 🤓🤓🤓
Great news. Ethel has been reserved and going to her new home on wednesday. Lovely couple offering lots of love and are able to keep her as an indoor companion. We are all delighted. 💕💕💕😻😻🐾🐾 INTRODUCING YOUNGSTER ETHEL (12 months). A Super-loving girl who would like a an indoor home in a quiet location. Ethel loves attention and should be fine with another friendly puss cat and gentle oldr children. She should make a welcome addition to cat loving household with time to enjoy her company. I'm in love, Clare in love as are all who have met her. Clearly she has been a great role model for her kittens.
