We can finally share our exciting news

WE ARE EXPECTING!!!!

Charlie had a visit to the veterinary clinic this week to have an ultrasound which has confirmed she has babies on the way to Mack🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

You can see the tiny puppies in their embryonic sac only around 1cm in length at this stage! Dr Michael at Wingham and Valley Vets was able to pick up the blood flow in the heart of one of the puppies even at this early stage, just amazing.

We have two remaining spots for this upcoming litter, if you have applied recently please check your emails for correspondence from us 😊

What a great day out today at the Mid North Coast Canine Club Show with Bonnie (ZARALIAM FIRE OF FRECKLEDPARK) attending her first show.
She did very well coming away with PUPPY OF BREED ⭐️

On Wednesday we farewelled Bluey the last of Holly and Mack’s babies. We have had some wonderful updates from families with puppies settling in well with their new families this past week 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

I’m a week behind in posting our six week family visits, it was such a lovely day meeting everyone and a great opportunity for the babies to get to know their families a little before heading off this coming weekend 😬

We also had our first visit to see Dr Alice at Wingham and Valley Vets on Monday, we were all very brave having our injections (the cream cheese worked a treat!)

We had a visit from the very talented Jude Conning Photography at the start of the week. She has captured some absolutely beautiful photos of our babies in their first week of life ❤️

And here is the whole litter - two B&Ws and 5 Merles. Freckled Park Borders are ANKC registered ethical breeders. The care of their dogs is exceptional.

All SEVEN babies have arrived safe and sound 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

Holly actively delivered her babies from 11:45am-5:45pm. Our last baby was born 2 hrs and 45 minutes after the rest, this is why we have an xray to confirm numbers 😬

Birth weights range from 380-430g with everyone latching and eager to drink straight after birth (what I like to see).

Mum has had a quick shampoo to freshen up and was quick to attend to her babies afterwards.

Our first baby….hold up babies are arriving!!!

Holly has preferred to whelp out on the large bedding rather than the whelping box. When everyone arrives we’ll pop them over into their new snuggly home.

We are now counting down the days for the arrival of Holly’s first litter.

This litter has been 3 years in planning and to be this close is very exciting.

She has been taking it easy the last few weeks enjoying her new room and air conditioning over these warmer days.

Mack being Mack, is wondering why his best friend isn’t up to playing tug of war anymore, but he’ll be pleasantly surprised when his new babies arrive in the next few days.

2023 has concluded here at Freckled Park Border Collies with our babies joining their families over the last week.

This litters journey has been very special with many families having little people ready to give lots of love to their new family member. Their smiles on pick up day were precious ❤️

Pippin and Bonnie’s first trip into Bunnings for some retail therapy and desensitisation to the sights, sounds and the smell of the bbq on the way out 🌭

We had our six week health check and vaccinations today with a side of cuddles from the Wingham and Valley Vet girls ❤️

We all passed with flying colours as expected, but we didn’t leave the clinic with much peanut butter and cream cheese after our visit 😂

I’m running a little bit behind with posting our babies three week old photos…but here they are!!

We are well and truly up and about now. We have started to interact with toys and each other and have the cutest little tail wags when our human mum arrrives with our new yummy meals.

And it's started....the Christmas themed photos :)

Our babies are now two weeks old and up and walking about the whelping box. Their eyes have opened over the weekend and they can now hear sounds, so no sneaking into their room now without being noticed.

All our puppies are spoken for with wonderful families counting down the weeks until they get to take them home.

It’s been a busy fortnight here at Freckled Park.

We said goodbye to our last babies from Fly and Macks litter, both families travelling across states to pick up their special babies. We had a lovely reunion with Sunny, Carley and Ben who came to pick up their beautiful girl Clover.

Last weekend we had the surprise early delivery of Tess and Macks healthy litter of seven. Tess went into labour almost four days earlier than expected but progressed to have a normal natural delivery throughout the day.

Their babies have been gaining weight each day and have over doubled their birth weight now which is fantastic. Tess has been a wonderful tentative mother and is doing really well with all her puppies.

Nothing competitive but Mack came away with the “Best Trick” award at our local pet show today. He completed a sit, drop, roll over (fall over 🤷‍♀️) all a bit of fun with our loveable fluff ball.
