Fostering Foster Animal Rescue Fostering Foster rescues dogs in SC who are homeless, abandoned and abused and transports them to no-kill
partner organizations in NY.

We rely on our rescue farm in Camden and foster
homes to care for the dogs
between being rescued and heading up north. Fostering Foster Animal Rescue was founded by Andrea Walker and a close knit group of devoted animal rescuers that were determined to make a difference in their community. Fostering Foster Animal Rescue is a volunteer driven nonprofit. We are dedicated to rescuing animals, primari

ly dogs, that are in southern kill shelters and that are in desperate need of help. We know that spay and neuter is one way to reduce the number of animals on death row in shelters. We primarily collaborate with northern rescues, shelters and animal leagues to save as many lives as possible. We rely on foster homes to help us save lives and donations to keep us funded. The more foster homes and supporters that we have the more lives we can save. We believe that all dogs have tales to tell and we believe in giving them the chance to wag their tails. All dogs deserve to be loved and cherished and to enrich the lives of their humans. Through community involvement and social awareness we know that one day every dog will have a home. Our founder's very first foster dog was Foster- this rescue's mascot- and boy, oh, boy did Foster have some tales to tell, like how he stole Andrea's heart and became her forever boy. For 15 years, Foster and Andrea were side by side saving lives. In Foster's memory, Fostering Foster Animal Rescue is still saving the lives of animals in need. This is Foster's page, this is your page, this is OUR page. Let's celebrate all things dog and save the many lives that are depending on us. Here at Fostering Foster Animal Rescue we promote rescue, fostering and adoption, and celebrate all things DOG!

🚨URGENT NEED!🚨

We are scraping the barrel for dog food!

Right now we have 55 dogs and pups at our rescue farm and in foster homes with more coming in this week. They are all so deserving of love, kind care, and a healthy environment to thrive in.

To keep our dogs happy and healthy, we urgently need dog food!

Your support makes a world of difference, and we depend on people just like you who believe in our mission to help us provide for these animals in need.

We have curated Wishlists on Amazon.com and Chewy where you can find the food we desperately need. Every little bit helps, and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity. You can find the links in the comments below!

Thank you for having such big hearts for the animals who need us all. Together, we can make a positive impact on their lives! 🐶❤️

🐾 November is National Senior Dog Month! 🐾

Meet Bailey, a gentle Lab mix with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. 💛 When her owners passed away, Bailey and her siblings suddenly found themselves without a home. But despite the changes in her world, this girl’s spirit has remained warm and loving — all she really needs is a soft bed, a kind hand, and someone to love her.

Bailey is around 7 years old, which might surprise you to learn makes her a senior dog!

Age can sneak up faster for our pups than it does for us:
🐶 Small dogs are considered seniors around age 10–12
🐾 Medium dogs (like Bailey) at 7–9
🦮 Large and giant breeds as early as 5–6

Senior dogs like Bailey still have so much love to give — they just need someone to see the beauty in their calm, loyal hearts. ❤️

This month, we celebrate Bailey and all the amazing senior dogs who remind us that age is just a number when it comes to love.

🌟 Celebrating Senior Dog Month with Molly & Carley 🌟

Molly and Carley have spent just about their entire lives with our director, Andrea — and they’re the perfect reminder that every dog’s story is worth fighting for. 💖

🐾 Molly was once a terrified, feral pup headed for euthanasia. Andrea took a leap of faith and brought her home, tying her gently to her waist for weeks until one day, Molly finally let her guard down and allowed a touch. Now, she’s still shy with newcomers but full of love and trust for Andrea and our team.

🐶 Carley, the dachshund, came from a backyard breeder and had learned that biting was the only way to protect herself. Andrea bought bite gloves and worked patiently with her until Carley realized that not all hands cause harm — some just offer love.

Today, these two senior girls spend their days napping side by side, soaking up the comfort of safety, love, and second chances. ❤️

Senior dogs like Molly and Carley remind us that healing takes time, love changes everything, and every single one of them deserves to grow old knowing they’re safe and loved.

Oh, y'all. If it's not one thing it's another. And this time the thing is... MICE 🐁 🐭
Unfortunately, these little critters are getting into our dog food supply and all of the other supplies!

So, I'm reaching out for some help to keep our rescue supplies safe and secure. We really need airtight storage containers to protect everything!

Rhonda Dennis, a friend and volunteer, came and pulled everything out (and met a few of the local mouse population) of the storage room for us. It's all outside and we’re currently going through it to see what we can salvage.

If you’re able to help, we would greatly appreciate it if you could purchase some containers from our Amazon Wishlist or, if you live locally, pick some up from the store and drop them off at our farm. This will ensure that our dog food stays fresh and that all our blankets, towels, and supplies stay clean and uncontaminated for the dogs.

🚨WISHLIST LINK IS IN THE COMMENTS!!🚨

BTW- Veronica, the sweet dog in the picture, is helping us keep everything secure right now! Thank you so much for your support! Every little bit helps, and we couldn’t do this without our wonderful community! 💕🐶

Feel free to share this post to help us spread the word!

🎉🐾 Celebrating National Senior Pet Month with Mr. Wilson! 🐾🎉

Meet Mr. Wilson, our resident senior mystery! Nobody knows exactly how old he is—or how long he plans to stick around—but one thing is certain: he’s determined to outlive us all. 😏

Luckily, he’s agreed to grace a loving foster home with his presence… under a few non-negotiable conditions:
🛋️ A couch fully stocked with dog beds and blankets
🍲 Premium canned dog food (a strict requirement, of course!)

Mr. Wilson is living proof that age is just a number, and attitude is everything. 💖 If you’re celebrating National Senior Pet Month, remember to give your older pets some extra love, cozy spots, and maybe a little extra premium treat—they’ve earned it!

📣 Want to help seniors like Mr. Wilson? Consider fostering or donating to help us keep tails wagging and couches comfy for all our wise (and wonderfully stubborn) seniors.

🐾💛 November is National Senior Pet Month! 💛🐾

This month, we’re celebrating the gentle souls with frosty faces and hearts full of love — our senior pets! 🐶✨

Older dogs often get overlooked, but they have so much love left to give. They’re wise, calm, and deeply grateful for every bit of kindness they receive. 💕

At Fostering Foster Animal Rescue, we believe every dog — young or old — deserves a chance to know safety, comfort, and love.

For the month of November we will be posting some of our senior dogs. We have a few seniors available for adoption as well as some that are resident dogs that will live out their glory days in dedicated foster homes or at our rescue farm. 🐾🦴

Up first is CHARLIE 😍
Charlie’s owner loved him for 14 great years but due to his own health could no longer care for him. His family tried to take him in but Charlie’s sight is not great and their home was not safe for him to navigate. They reached out to us and now Charlie is enjoying walks with our volunteers and basking in the sun at our rescue farm!

Join us in honoring our seniors this month! Consider adopting, fostering, or donating to help give these special pups the golden years they deserve. 🌟
