We rely on our rescue farm in Camden and foster
homes to care for the dogs
between being rescued and heading up north. Fostering Foster Animal Rescue was founded by Andrea Walker and a close knit group of devoted animal rescuers that were determined to make a difference in their community. Fostering Foster Animal Rescue is a volunteer driven nonprofit. We are dedicated to rescuing animals, primari

ly dogs, that are in southern kill shelters and that are in desperate need of help. We know that spay and neuter is one way to reduce the number of animals on death row in shelters. We primarily collaborate with northern rescues, shelters and animal leagues to save as many lives as possible. We rely on foster homes to help us save lives and donations to keep us funded. The more foster homes and supporters that we have the more lives we can save. We believe that all dogs have tales to tell and we believe in giving them the chance to wag their tails. All dogs deserve to be loved and cherished and to enrich the lives of their humans. Through community involvement and social awareness we know that one day every dog will have a home. Our founder's very first foster dog was Foster- this rescue's mascot- and boy, oh, boy did Foster have some tales to tell, like how he stole Andrea's heart and became her forever boy. For 15 years, Foster and Andrea were side by side saving lives. In Foster's memory, Fostering Foster Animal Rescue is still saving the lives of animals in need. Meet Happy - A Story of Hope and Healing This GivingTuesday!

💖🐾 This is Happy, a beautiful soul who came to us in dire need of help. Severely neglected and living in deplorable conditions, she was emaciated, bald, and suffering from heartworm and significant ear issues that she is still battling. Happy's desperation for rescue was palpable, and thanks to the incredible support from our community, we were able to alleviate her suffering and give her a second chance at life. 🌈✨

At Fostering Foster Animal Rescue, our mission is to save dogs like Happy, who deserve love, care and a forever home. Your donations have made it possible for us to provide the medical treatment, nourishment, and comfort she desperately needed. Happy is now on her journey to recovery, and with your continued support, we can help even more animals in need!

🐾🍂 Happy Thanksgiving to our incredible community! 🍂🐾

On this special day, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you—our donors, supporters, and friends. Your unwavering support throughout the year has been nothing short of amazing, and it truly makes a world of difference in the lives of the dogs we rescue.

As we reflect on the vital work we do, we’re reminded of the countless dogs in need, like our beloved OG, 14-year-old Molly, who was saved 13 years ago, just as she was being walked to the euthanasia room. They rely on us for a second chance at life. Your generosity allows us to continue this lifesaving mission, providing shelter, medical care, and love to the dogs who need us most.

Together, we can save even more lives and ensure that every pup gets the chance to feel loved and valued. Thank you for being such an essential part of our journey. We couldn’t do it without you, and we look forward to continuing this important work together.

🦃🌞 Day of Thanksgiving at the Rescue Farm! 🦴🦃

We are overflowing with gratitude for our amazing volunteers Lisa, Sandra and Mrs. Ruby who took the time to bring a delicious feast to our dogs at the rescue farm! Thanks to their generosity, every pup got to enjoy a special meal filled with turkey, ham, rice, pumpkin, and a dollop of cool whip—yummy!

It was such a joy filled time with wagging tails and happy barks as the dogs indulged in their very own Thanksgiving dinner. Watching them savor every bite reminded us of the love and care that goes into making their lives better.

We can't thank our volunteers enough for their kindness and dedication to our dogs. Your efforts made this holiday truly special, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our rescue family.

Here’s to many more moments of joy and love together! 🐾❤️
