Xena's puppies are already a week old. Mom gets a calcium tab every day to help her keep those fat puppies fed!

Xena had a litter of 3 boys late last night. It never ceases to amaze me how that little, 9-lb. dog, manages to push out those giant puppies. The biggest one was 9.8 oz. Not only is that Xena's record, but it may be a Stew's Poos' record for an unassisted birth. She's happy now. She was starting to look like she swallowed a watermelon. The little guys will be available Feb. 23.

Haylee & Obie's baby girls are now 4 weeks old and starting to eat solid food and play with each other.

Haylee & Obie's pups are now 3 weeks old. An interesting development — Grandma Zoey apparently doesn't think Haylee is doing a good enough job, so has moved into the crate to clean and bond with the pups...who seem to be happy with the new development.

Happy 16th Birthday to Reggie - aka PaWS Reddy Rydher. He has led such a wonderful life and produced lots of puppies, grandpuppies and great-grandpuppies. Send us a photo of your Reggie progeny.

Haylee delivered two little girls on Thursday, two days after her due date. A friend came by with her husband at 4 and we visited until 5 p.m., while watching the 'Poos run like crazy around the yard...including Haylee. Just before Jeopardy began at 7 pm, Wally told me that Haylee was looking really comfortable in the big, cushy rocking chair in the living room (which I had fenced off, so she wouldn't have puppies in it). At that point, I said a 4-letter word before heading to the living room. Sure enough, there was Haylee with the two puppies, all dried off and cleaned up. Wish I could say the same for the chair.

I got back from USC Medical Center last week following thoracic surgery. All of the Poos were overly happy to see me. Wally has been tending the puppies. I walked by the living room yesterday and there were a bunch of escapees all over the place. These pups need new homes! Text me at 760-223-2873.

Jozee & Rusty's pups will be 5 weeks old in a couple of days. I took new photos last night. They are still available and will be ready to be picked up (or delivered) after Aug. 14. We have been without a web site for several months, which is a problem - but one that will be resolved by the end of this week.

Jozee and Rusty’s puppies are 3 weeks old today. They were pretty much just sleeping and eating…or so I thought. Wally texted me when I was at a dr. appointment this morning, that all 5 of them had escaped the crate and were all over the living room, with Jozee frantically trying to herd them back. Hmmm…might be time to set up a fence around the pen. These 6th generation, 3 males and 2 females will grow to 12-15 lbs. and be ready Aug. 14.

We have a pair of 8-week-old Cockapoo puppies still available for adoption. Mona is all white with apricot spots over her eyes. Michaela is champagne-color. Each girl has had two of her four puppy vaccinations. Our parent dogs are DNA tested for genetic issues. These are 5th generation Cockapoos. We are in the Kern River Valley, 50 miles NE of Bakersfield. Price reduced so these two, well-socialized pups will go to their forever homes soon. In 20 years of breeding, I never have puppies available at this age, but I no longer have a website, and that seems to be a problem. For more information, email [email protected].
