BARk Located in West York, PA Saving Animals in Need BARK accepts donations all year for pet food and supplies.

BARK (Borough Animal Response Krew ) is made up of volunteers who respond to any emergency involving an animal that is lost, stolen, found, hurt during a fire or motor vehicle accident, tethered outside for long periods of time or abused within West York Boro and surrounding areas. Every year BARk holds several events so we can help pets in need.

501 c3 Non-Profit Organization status.

BARK needs your help!!

We are falling short on dog food donations to meet the needs of our needy pet campaign in December. Unfortunately this year a local person scammed us resulting in the loss of $600 and the cancellation of two large events where we normally would have collected large amounts of food.

Just because our pups can't ask for the same kind of wellness routines we create for ourselves doesn't mean they couldn't use them! Just like for humans, canine massage can be a great way to unwind, relax, and thank the body for all its hard work. It can also bring gentle relief to dogs suffering from injuries, chronic illness, old age, anxiety, and more. Join us 5/5 to learn some techniques with massage therapist Dawn Tule. BARk our story...

BARk program (Borough Animal Response krew ) is made up of a total of 30+ volunteers who respond to any emergency involving an animal that is lost, stolen, found, hurt during a fire or motor vehicle accident, tethered outside for long periods of time or abused mainly within West York Boro. BARk excepts donations all year around for pet food, bowls, leashes, beds, treats, toys,litter, crates, anything animal related. BARk holds annual fundraisers all year long to raise donations ie: monetary, food, treats, again anything animal related. Around Christmas we do a Needy pet campaign delivering needed pet supplies to needy animals thru out York County. If you are in need of a care package, you need to register on our page by December 1 to pick up on a date in December. If you don’t register you won’t be able to get a care package. BARk has in the past helped with Vet bills (if the money is available). We also help veterans and their service animals with food, clothing, toiletries when available.
