Finishing out our time in Chickasha, OK with BOS for a 3 pt major.

I am so so proud of this girl and how far she’s come in conformation. I am really excited to run agility the next two days and have some “real” fun 😉

I entered Indie and Riff in fun runs for coursing ability tests today between Riff and Indie’s confo times.
Last time I tried to run Indie in fastcat or coursing ability she would chase but ended up running back to me. She was young so I didn’t push too much.
But today she came out with a force and ran the entire course with multiple turns and didn’t pull away once to come back to me! And earned her very first CA leg 🥰 I’m so proud of her and she had so much fun that I definitely see coursing in her future.

Riffy’s puppy bump went surprisingly well as well and I think he might be interested in the game in the future as well!

Now they’re both pooped and can have a nap before Indie has to get groomed up ❤️

In Chickasha, OK today Riffy finished off his BPUP career going herding puppy group 2 to, if my calculations are correct, finish off his Puppy of Achievement!

Now he gets to grow up a bit before we try for anything further but I’m so proud of how he did. He made showing fun and watching him enjoy it really made my heart happy ❤️ we’ve got a bright future ahead of us buddy

The best teammate ❤️

It makes me sad to think he will be 9 this year. It feels like we’ve only begun our agility journey for real and I am not sure how long he will want to run. But I will keep playing with him until he tells me he’s done. We’ve made huge strides the last year and are so close to starting to work on PACH points. I’m not sure if we’ll ever get it - but we’ll give it our best shot within our means!

He has been the best novice a dog ❤️

Not to be forgotten- Indie and I competed in best headpiece & best gaited on Friday and best of breed both Saturday and Sunday. And even though she doesn’t have any ribbon photos - she had a very successful weekend.
She got top 6 best gaited out of 16 bi***es on Friday evening. Just outside the ribbons. And on Saturday she made it to the top 8 bitch specials out of 51! And today she made it down to the top 10 bi***es out of 50!

I am incredibly proud of her and how she performed for me this weekend. She did more than I ever expected ❤️

Riff and I have been practicing some age appropriate foundations for agility. He seems to really enjoy it so far so I think I have the makings of a fun agility partner when he’s old enough! This guy really likes to do anything as long as it involves me and some treats ❤️
