Our house is always alive with canine guests and we wouldn't want it any other way. Many parents tell us that their pups are a little sad when they get home because they've had their own vacation at our house. We've been hosting dogs in our home for over five years, and have had all different breeds, sizes, personalities, and ages (as you can see from our pictures). I am a former English teacher a

nd my husband recently retired from the military to finish his history and political science degrees at UAH. The Dog People is now my full time career, which means I am home playing with pooches all day! Our back yard has a six foot privacy fence, is medium-sized, and very clean. We are regularly outside with our sweet Golden Retriever and boarders playing music, grilling out, or throwing the ball. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have! I know how stressful it is to leave your dog(s) behind when you travel. At our house, they'll feel loved, secure, and will ALWAYS have a vacation of their own.

*Our hours:
Monday - Friday 6:30am - 6:00pm
Saturday - Sunday 8:00am - 4:00pm

*We charge $38 a night per dog and $25 a day for daycare.

*We require proof of all vaccinations. Pick Up Policy

Boarding reservations are for a 24 hour period. If you plan on your pooch being here later, please include our $20 daycare fee on the pick up day. For example, if you drop off at 6:30am on Monday, pick up will be at 6:30am on Tuesday, unless you pay a daycare fee.

*Your dog must be spayed/neutered, housebroken, and get along well with other dogs.

*We offer doggy daycare (in addition to overnight boarding) for $25 a day. We'd be happy to keep your pup entertained while you’re away for the day.
