EQ-Ulcer in Prague!

Santa comes from a history of maltreatment in the Spanish training he experienced as a PRE. He has started his journey on EQ-Ulcer and we can’t wait to see the results.

Meet Red - another one of our furry family members, and ambassador for Wings Veterinary Health. 🌿

Red is a pure-bred Frenchie, and his breed is known to struggle with digestion. In the past he would often leave his food unfinished and tire very easily, so we decided to start administering our Tummy Care formula with his food.

In our years of developing EQ-Ulcer and working with horses to resolve complex behavioral issues, we realized the percentage of horses that are effected by gastric ulcers is extremely high.

Girth sensitivity is a common issue we observe in horses that have gastric ulcers present.

Many of these signs and symptoms could be dismissed as general moodiness in daily activity, however usually not without a root cause, and therefore could indicate that a horse may be struggling with the discomfort of gastric ulcers.

Meet Lakota - a beloved family member and an ambassador for Wings Veterinary Health!

Lakota is an SPCA rescue, 10 year old saddlebred, who has exceeded all expectations.
From a horse scheduled to be put down, skinny and aggressive, to a horse who is full of life, energy and love.

We personally love feeding Fibre beet for our ulcer prone horses to assist in adding fibre to their diet.

Fibre is vital for digestive health!

Loose droppings, increased risk of colic and gastric ulcers is just some of the signs that may indicate a low fibre diet.
Research has shown that lucern can act as a great acid buffer in the digestive tract.
Fibre-Beet is a great fibre feed made up of British beet pulp and added lucern. It can be useful to feed before ridden work to prevent acid splash in your horse’s stomach which in turn will enhance your horse’s performance.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Solara Wing is a Positive Reinforcement Trainer working with owners and their horses to resolve complex behavioral issues. Living and working on a farm with both her own and clients horses, she has spent many years deeply involved in the analysis of the underlying causes of various behavioural and physical issues affecting horses. Gastric ulcers being so prolific, her research led her to the possibility that even well kept and otherwise seemingly healthy horses might be exhibiting uncharacteristically bad behavioural traits due to this underlying condition. An effective, natural, and easy to administer treatment for this condition was sought. Eq-Ulcer was the solution.

“ Gratefulness day continues with another massive thank you to Solara Wing and Eq-Ulcer - Wings Equestrian Health.

My beautiful mare has struggled with ulcers for years. She arrived at HaH last year in foal, and as a chronic wind sucker.

We have tried it all with her. She is still currently on mass amounts of food 🙈 6kg 13% and 1kg balancer as well as 4 kg Lucerne In the morning and a 5kg haynet at night, with veld grazing during the day, but looks like shortly the concentrates can be dropped down 🎉🥳

We contacted Solara and she was kind enough to donate 2 tubs to us and I bought 2 additional tubs.

The results are mind blowing after only a month…..

We have now managed to stop the wind sucking without the use of collars etc, she is gaining very noticeable weight daily, and we are now able to start light work with her ever 2nd day 💝💕 she is no longer girthy and fidgety when tacked up and her beautiful summer coat has just popped right out 💝
