A HUGE thank you to Joe Alexander and Trent Nugier for coming out today and giving their time to put on our Handler Seminar. A lot of great information talked about and great questions asked. Thanks to Shaun for cooking us lunch also! We hope to do another one in the future!

Another successful Hunt Test in the books! The turn out this year was maybe one of the biggest ones I’ve seen since being apart of this club. Handlers showed up ready run, people came out just to watch and learn what HRC is about. It was great to see all around.

We had a great tailgate dinner and raffle with donations from Avery, Garmin, DuckDog clothing, Wet Mutt, Briley, Retriever Fuel, Doctors Eye Center, Swamp Box Kennels, Bison Coolers, ReKoile Outdoors and many other individuals.

A huge THANK YOU to our judges, bird techs, volunteers and land owners for your continued support in making this event happen every year.

Thanks to the handlers/owners for choosing our test. We like seeing old faces and the new ones that choose to run our test!

Lastly but most importantly. Thanks to those founding members that decided 40 years ago it was a good idea to form a club and train dogs. We hope to carry on that tradition year after year.

‼️Tomorrow is the day‼️

Southeast Texas HRC wants to welcome all the judges, handlers, workers, and spectators to our 40th Anniversary Hunt Test. It truly means a lot to us that you’re choosing to run our test this spring! We hope to deliver a well run event. Here’s a few logistical items for everyone pertaining to the weekend.

Handlers please check in each day before heading to your flights. You will need to be checked in by 9 am each day as we have a wait list for Finished.

Seasoned and Started still have walk-ups available.

Some handlers with multiple dogs will be asked to go to certain flights first. Please do so. Hopefully this prevents a lull in all the test running.

Ribbons for Saturday will be handed out at the Tailgate dinner and Raffle. Not before then. Sunday will be after each test is complete so you can get on your way home.

If there are any issues please notify your marshal and I will take it from there.

We hope everyone has a grand time this weekend!
