🐏🐏🐏RAM FERTILITY TESTING🐏🐏🐏
We recommend testing all rams intended for breeding about 6-8 weeks before the start of the breeding season.
Semen samples are taken and checked under a microscope at the surgery, giving immediate results.
Checking your rams fertility will save time and money and improve overall fertility.

W have had two fatal cases of tetanus in the past week.
Please ensure your horses are protected by annual vaccination.
*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣The symptoms of tetanus can mimic colic and are easily recognised*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣
These include
⚠️History of wound
⚠️Muscle stiffness (locking jaw, rocking horse stance, unable to eat)
⚠️seizures/colic signs
⚠️Third eyelid protrusion
⚠️Horses with tetanus become neurological quicker due to toxin and disease is usually fatal despite attempts at treatment.

Merger of Small Animal Services with Campsie Veterinary Centre

Over the last year, we have been working with our sister practice- Campsie Veterinary Centre in Omagh.

We are concerned that it is difficult to offer the level of service we want for our small animal clients.

For this reason and after careful consideration, we have taken the tough decision to move our small animal services and then merge them with Campsie Veterinary Centre as from 1st July 2023.

This does not affect our farm and equine veterinary services, which will remain at Strule.
