Before I posted I had to wait for UKC to double check my math. 😆

Last month Zila Mae attended a United Kennel Club wheels on natural Weight Pull hosted by Sisu Dog Sporting Club of Northern Minnesota.

Over the weekend Zila earned 2 most Weight Pulled Per Body Pound A Division and Sunday took over all most weight pulled per body pound for the day.

She also became the first CSV to earn the Versatile Puller Excellent AND United Weight Pull Outstanding!

This girl continues to amaze me. Her work ethic, drive, and biddable nature makes her a dream to work with.

Our A litter is 3 years old today. It really doesn’t feel like that long ago we were welcoming these little ones into the world. We couldn’t be more proud of them and their wonderful owners!

The girls and I made our way to the Paul Bunyan Dog Training Association’s UKC show last month and had a lot of fun!

Kaida:
2 x BOB
Group 2
6x BOB Veteran
3x Reserve Best in Show Veteran
Best in Show Veteran

Zila:
Rally Scores of:
98, 2nd Place
98
87
99, 3rd Place
100, 2nd Place

Lorelei and Kaida did brace for one show each day. Kaida has the patience of a saint and Lorelei very much has puppy brain. Still they pulled off 3 BOB brace and a Reserve Best in Show Brace!

Achelous did a thing last month!

Achelous and Bridget attended the Paul Bunyan Dog Training Association’s 3 day UKC show with wonderful results.

In conformation he earned:
4 Best of Breed
A group 1, group 3, and group 4
In a very nice line up of herding breeds

In rally he earned:
His last needed leg to finish his United Rally Obediance 2 title.
Then with no training or having never seen the signs…Achelous and Bridget went in and earned 3 qualifying scores earning his United Rally Obediemce 3 title.

He earned 3 Total Dogs and then went on to earn 2 Best in Show Total Dogs!

We are so proud of both him and Bridget. Your hard work and bravery has really paid off.

*Achelous is the first CSV to earn both a URO2 and URO3 title!*

Kaida was the first to earn a URO1 and I love watching her offspring follow in her footsteps and surpass her.

In July Achelous, Kaida, Lorelei, and Zila made their way to Sisu Dog Sporting Club of Northern Minnesota’s UKC show.

Achelous: Best of Breed and 2 URO2 Qs with scores of 86 and 89.

Kaida: Best of Breed x3, Group 3, Best in Show Veteran, and Reserve Best in Show Veteran x2.

Lorelei and Kaida: Reserve Best in Show Brace x2

Zila: Total Dog, Reseve Total Dog Best in Show, 4 URO1 Qs with scores of 100, 100, 94, and 98.

Arwyn and Victoria attended an OFA clinic a while back and today we got some great news.

Hips: Good
Elbows: Normal
Eyes: Clear

We are excited and now just waiting on DW test results. She is clear through parentage, but we still test every dog.

Zila was on fire at UKC Premier in Kalamazoo, Michigan this past weekend.

She pulled 1,310lbs or 25.68 times her body weight each day.
Thursday: 8.47 seconds
Friday: 7.49 seconds
Saturday: 7.72 seconds

Earning her:
3 first place in her weight class AND
3 Most Weight Pulled per Body Pound A Division

She also earned two new titles over the weekend. (Pending UKC approval)
Advanced Puller 2 (AP2)
United Weight Pull Versatile (UWPV)

She also earned 60 points towards her next title!

Thursday: 1,170lbs or 23.4 times her weight
Friday: 1,030lbs or 20.6 times her weight
Saturday: 1,310lbs or 26.68 times her weight

Earning her three 1st Place placements in her weight class and 50 points towards her next title!

Last month Achelous and Bridget attended a UKC cluster in Southern Minnesota.

He earned 2 best of breeds, a group 2 in a large line up of herding dogs, and 2 Total Dog invitations.

Then he also earned 3 new titles!

This was only Achelous’ second show and he did amazing bouncing between 5 different events in the same day. He has such an amazing work ethic and he really showed it off that weekend.

Ryu had a blast at Sisu Dog Sporting Club of Northern Minnesota’s UKC Rally Onedience trial this weekend.

He went in off leash for the first time and earned to legs towards his URO2 title. With scores of 94/100 and 96/100!

Ryu and Alison are amazing to watch in the ring together. They are such a great team and all of thier hard work has paid off!
