Proud and thankful for these two! Steve and Combo had another exceptional NSTRA trial over the weekend. Combo is from the Twin Thickets Kennel, but would not have been possible without a mating to Steve and Angela Autry’s Waco dog. The pairing of WACO and my Twin Thickets Sally 11 years ago has built a strong foundation of phenomenal field llewellins. I’m forever thankful to my dear Autry friends!

Wow!! What a weekend for the Twin Thickets Family! Four dogs and six placements at the NLGDC and Mid-South NSTRA.

Shout out to these handlers and the devotion to their dogs.

>Combo, owned by Steve and Angela Autry earned a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd NSTRA. Combo also earned his amateur NSTRA champion title!
>Ziva, owned by Chris Miller earned 1st place open at NLGDC.
>Ann-owned by Josh Bell earned a 2nd place at the NLGDC Derby.
>Lily, owned by Chris Miller earned a 2nd place NLGDC open.

The Recipe:

>Bird dog to bird dog produces bird dogs.
>Owners willing to put in the time for their bird dogs.
>Dont be kennel blind. Admit to yourself there are other kennels out there with great dogs that will compliment yours. Find them and breed the best to the best.
