Meet Ellie (aka Ellie Belly)!

This 1-year-old, 16 lb mini Bernedoodle is the sweetest, silliest, spunkiest little girl you’ll ever meet. She actually smiles when you say her name!

Ellie loves dogs of all sizes, adores kids, and believes every human is her new best friend. She’s potty trained in her foster home, crate trained (may protest for a minute, then settles), and walks nicely on a leash.

She’s a smart, high-energy doodle who will thrive with an active family. Think walks, playtime, enrichment toys, backyard zoomies, and being included in daily life. She won’t do well in an environment where she’s left alone for long periods of time.

You’ll notice she currently has a shorter haircut. When she came to us, her coat was very matted, so she needed a shave-down for a healthy fresh start. With regular grooming, her fluffy, shaggy coat will grow right back in.

And at night? Total cuddle bug. She sleeps in bed and will happily snuggle close all night long.

Sam is currently 103 lbs, and while he is a big boy, he should not be quite as large and needs to lose some weight.

What a gorgeous girl! She is truly the sweetest dog with so much love to give.

Juniper is a 42 lb, 9 month old sweetheart who came to us with a broken leg that we have since fixed. She is doing great!

Juniper is very friendly and wants everyone to be her best friend. She is very playful with other dogs and loves to wrestle/rough house with dogs.

Juniper is crate-trained and working on house-training. She is still a puppy, so crate-training and monitored time out is recommended as she continues to grow and learn.

Juniper is learning how to leash walk without pulling, learning not to jump up, and learning basic commands, but she is eager to please and ready to learn more! She is great on car rides and would be an amazing adventure buddy!

These four elder babies and their Momma (solid black) were dumped in their foster’s neighborhood. She has been diligently working to socialize them and has also gotten them vetted: spay/neuter, vaccines, dewormed, and FIV/FELV tested. They’re shy but friendly and are coming out of their shells more every day. Purring, chirping, playing, and getting into normal kitten shenanigans. All that’s left is to find their forever homes where they can continue to settle and thrive in the safety and security of the indoor life. The kittens would likely do best if they go in pairs, but would be ok separated too. Please share with your kitty savvy and tuxedo loving friends!

CAT & KITTEN FOSTERS NEEDED! 20 cats from a cruelty situation will be arriving at our shelter today. We urgently need fosters and adopters for the cats currently in our care to ensure we have space for these 20 new cats who are en route.

Rosie is a beautiful 2 year old, 64 lb Chocolate Lab. She loves to spend her time outside playing with the other dogs and playing fetch. She could play fetch for hours! She is crate-trained and house-trained in her foster home. She loves attention and being pet. She also loves chew toys - she hasn't chewed on anything inappropriate in her foster home but definitely needs lots of benebones and nylabones in her forever home.

Rosie is very sweet and loving. She is not suited for a home with children under 5

“Andy is a young, mixed-breed dog (DOB:February 2, 2023) who weighs around 14 lbs. We were told by the person who surrendered him to us that he was a Chihuahua/Poodle mix, but we believe other possible breeds include: Rat Terrier and/or Fox Terrier. He is a little bit shy when meeting new people, but quickly opens up and shows off his cute, fun, and sweet personality. He likes to play with his foster siblings and would really enjoy having a friend in his new home who will play with him — a dog or a kid — and someone to snuggle with on the couch after. He is already crate-trained and will make the perfect addition to any family”
