so many dogs getting lost when walking😞

Aww we met Rubbles at the beach in Sandend and we gave him one of our cooling vests. Doesn’t he look smart posing for a pic 😍His owner was able to hydrate it with a dip in the sea to keep him cool and it can be washed in the washing machine and hydrated next time with a bottle of water💧thanks for sending us a pic. Glad Rubbles is happy with it 😀

Great tip from the vets. Is it too hot to walk your furry friend? 🐶

☀️The seven second rule 🥵

Hold your hand on the pavement for seven seconds, if it’s uncomfortable or you can’t keep it there for the full time then it’s definitely too hot for your dog to walk on.

We have seen so many dogs being walked or taken to parks and the beach in this lovely weather but it’s extremely dangerous for our furry friends.

Instead walk them in the early morning or late evening. During the day provide them with plenty of water, shade and cooling treats.

Pointer dog, name Huxley, newly rescued and quite elderly, ran away from Lochhills/Innes area at around 6.30pm. Has collar and microchip. Please keep your eyes open for him as his hearing isn’t great. Thank you 😊
