Watching A Puppy for Padruig on BBC Alba. Really interesting. I’ve known a few Skye Terriers over the years and hadn’t appreciated how rare they are. Definitely worth watching.

Lots of firsts this weekend. First weekend away, first overnight away from home, first rally show! Thanks to Corryisle Dog Training and their helpers for a well organised competition. Today was about the experience not the scores. Getting used to a long car journey, overnight in a new house, a busy hall with new sights smells and sounds. He did very well, a little hesitant at first, but soon relaxed into it. Lovely to catch up with some friends we don’t manage to see often enough.

Another beautiful day. Later we went for a short training walk and amused the visitors staying in the cottage along from us as I walked past singing “boo boo banana” to encourage him to walk with me on a nice loose lead! 🤣
