Peaches update video. She is improving daily. I honestly did not think she would pull thru the horrible cold nights we had. She was so bad one night I spent time telling her what a great doe she has been and how much she was loved expecting for her to pass thru the night....but miraculously God granted us a miracle. She is not 100% out of the woods but we are getting there thanks to all the prayers 🥰 thank you all so much

Latest shawl complete. Notice the sheep in the background.... all the white you see in this shawl is from our Jacob Sheep. It also contains alpaca fiber making it oh so skin soft, and curly sheep locks for texture. This has to be my favorite ridgid heddle project so far. Horn maintenance is a thing when you have Jacob sheep. It's painless much like cutting your fingernails and the bloodsupply does not go all the way to the ends of the horns. This rams horns curve too deeply and would grow into his jaw if left alone. This is a genetic trait that can be passed on to offspring. He will still be a part of our farm, just not a part of our breeding program. Little fact...
