About Us
Bixby’s Cookies was founded shortly after Victoria got her first dog, Bixby. She couldn’t find any peanut butter dog treats on the market that didn’t contain some sort of meat. In addition, she wanted a cookies that could be easily broken into pieces, so they could be used for training.
After experimenting with various brands Victoria finally decided one afternoon to make her own. When they came out of the oven, they passed the Bixby taste test (he’s a fussy pup) and broke apart perfectly the idea was born.
Bixby’s Cookies also strives to keep their carbon footprint to a minimum by utilising biodegradable packaging, organic ingredients where possible and does not use animal products or by-products in their cookies.
Victoria continues to try new recipes and Bixby provides his stamp of approval once the recipe is up to scratch. All of our cookies are human grade, but they won’t taste as delicious as a snickerdoodle.
