🆘NOS HAN ROBADO A KAREV🆘
La noche del 17/12/24 alguien cortó la valla de una de las jaulas de nuestro refugio y desaparecieron 5 perros.

Durante el día se han ido encontrando todos menos KAREV!!

Estamos haciendo averiguaciones con la policía ya que fue comisado hace unos meses y es una probabilidad importante que, el dueño lo haya querido recuperar!!

Tenemos mucho miedo por él😓 ya que al ser PPP podría ser robado también para peleas o ser utilizado comp sparring🆘

Desperately looking for fosters to help socialise 6 kittens 🐈‍⬛
They are living outside and I have given them shelter and I’m feeding them but I simple dont have space to bring them in 😢
If you can help, you will need a spare room, time and a little patience !
Once they are litter trained and more used to being handled I can them find them their forever homes !
I will supply everything plus the reassurance of vets care if necessary !

Reece
12 month old border collie/lab mix
Came to me as a stray August 26th.
He has opened up a lot since coming into my home, and learns very quickly.
He does get along with other dogs and enjoys the dog park. Had some separation anxiety when I first got him which was not surprising since he was abandoned and in his own for weeks.
He did well with my 18 month old nephew but wouldn’t stop giving the baby kisses.
Does do some “mouthing” when he gets excited and playing but is easy to stop him by removing your hand and saying no.
He is kennel trained, house trained and only had 1 accident because of his separation anxiety.
He loves running around the fenced in yard.
He barks at things he doesn’t understand but will generally stop with a simple “Reece No”. Knows sit, lay down, come, no, off,kennel, living room, bed, treat, park.
He likes to be petted and has decided cuddling is kinda nice, he likes sleeping in the bed with you at night and sitting on your lap.
He has had all his shots, been fixed and microchipped.

He had a high prey drive and likes to chase squirrels, rabbits, and cats. Because of this he is unable to stay with me as I already have 2 cats.

He does well at boarding and loves everyone he meets unless you are a small animal then he just wants to chase you. He would do best in a fenced in yard.

Spain!! Sitges área of Poblé Sec.

This dog ‘Dayana’ got startled & ran off whilst on a walk in Poblé Sec Tuesday evening.
She has only recently been rehomed & is very timid. Please look out for her.
We would welcome any news about her.
She is chipped & registered to her new owner.

Goodness, I am late…
and I’m just now sitting down.

It’s been a day. It’s been a string of days for the last year, it seems. Whether it’s Spain or Iowa, we have been working nonstop to help as many animals as possible.

In both locations, we operate a year round TNR program and daily operations to provide food and medical care to homeless animals.
And some days, many days, it just doesn’t feel like we’re doing nearly enough.
But we remain hopeful and committed.

A few examples of what your donation will go towards.

An elderly chihuahua that needs extra medical care their owner just can’t afford at the moment. Vet bills are expensive folks!

Relocating one cat colony in Iowa and one cat colony in Spain. For both colonies, their current location is no longer a safe space so we must find an alternative. Not easy, by the way.
This means spay/neuter, rabies, parasite treatment. Oh! And the trapping and transport. Not to mention the days, weeks and money required.

Making outdoor shelters for homeless cats. It’s cold outside folks. Deadly cold for cats.

Food for homeless animals. In the winter, we try and feed kitten food, wet and dry, to outdoor cats. It gives them more energy and body warmth. Kitten food is of course more $$$.

Veterinary care. I’m transparent. We owe roughly $500 to vets in Iowa and $800 in Spain.
My goal is to have this debt paid off before the year ends.
We are blessed with amazing veterinary teams in both locations and I despise owing them money.

I could go on and on with examples, but the bottom line is we need your help and support. Our animal welfare work is for the benefit of the animals of course, but it is also a reflection on the community. Help us be an example of how animals should be treated and cared for.

UPDATE!! Transport found!! Best community ❤️

Sitges!! We need help transporting this cat to a foster home in Llorens del Penedés

This poor cat was found on the street in Sitges (another Siamese) and was taken to the CAAD.
We had no room, and now the CAAD has no space!

We have foster home willing to work with this cat to earn patience and know love, but we need to get the cat there safely.

I know and appreciate the weather is awful 😞

The cat can be collected from the CAAD (Vilafranca) directly or brought to Sitges and depart from there.

Tuesday optimal, but Wednesday if necessary.

Please help us! There are so many in need ❤️‍🩹
