Poor Toulouse is at LBAE. We are doing some labs to find out what's wrong with our sweet orange boy.
Toulouse was born in the backyard of a good samaritan who rescued him and his brothers, kept their momma, and has been fostering them as adoptable

Go Paulina Go!!!
The Matron has been working some hellacious hours at the rocket factory and hasn't had time to post much.
So: update on Socks! Her tushie seems to be ok now. We have a recheck at Primary next weekend.
However, she was quite lonely in the bathroom by herself, and she's the only kitten in the Manor - so the Matron called her friend at LBACS and pulled a single kitten from a foster home (who needed to return him to the shelter, so that worked out well) - and so we took in Peanut!
This.... didn't work out quite as planned.
Peanut had also been a solo kitten, and though socks is a little younger than peanut, he was initially overwhelmed by her rambunctiousness and rough play.
Now, as you can see, they are fast friends, and sleep together and play together.
But now, instead of one kitten climbing on the Matron's legs while she gets ready for work - there's two of them! MOL! And now they are all over the bathroom counter and have decided that toothbrushes are terrific toys! MOL!
The Matron was supposed to put up a kennel for them this weekend, but she's had to go to the rocket factory every day, so they will have to stay in the bathroom for a few more days.
Uncle Buddy Wigglesworth like to visit the kittens and snack on their Nulo kibble. And so do the Hounds of Jellicle Manor - but the littles are still pretty scared of them! They puff up like Halloween decorations and use foul language, which hurts the dogs' feelings. That will change soon.
Hopefully we get a clean bill of health for Socks next weekend and can start thinking about their spa day appointments so we can get them ready for adoption!

Listen to Socks' mighty purr
Also, it's very important to teach kittens the language of the pspspsps
A little certain someone is learning how to play 💜
Alex isn't feeling well, and we are hoping he is not having kidney issues again. However, he will be in good hands as he hangs out with our friends at Primary Bixby Knolls and we see what's up.
So little butt is feeling much better.
She wasn't prolapsing again; she was full of poo 😱
Dr Nguyen gave a lesson on how to help her along, and she will need to be expressed every day until the sutures come out 🫣
Recheck next week!
Someone is feeling much better! Thank you foster momma Laura for taking such good care of this precious little nugget.💜
She's so TINY!
Listen closely for the purrs 💜💜
And biscuits!
What a sweet girl.
Welcome, Socks! She was named by the kind folks who found her.
I think maybe we will call her Bobbi Socks.
Teamwork makes the dream work!
We want to give a special shout out to Long Beach Animal Care Services for networking and working hard to save lives.
With that said: meet Johnny (whose shelter name was Flipper, and that name has been vetoed by his foster momma Laura)!
Johnny is very sick and was redlisted at the shelter today. They reached out for rescue help (which they do regularly) and with the help of a terrific foster, we sprung him from LBACS.
He's hypothermic and needs to be in an incubator; in addition, he's also on IV fluids. So his foster raced him right over to Long Beach Animal emergency
He is being assessed now, and will possibly be hospitalized overnight.
We sure could use some help with this one .

We will post updates as we know more about what is wrong with him and what it's going to take to make him healthy and strong.
