Owning a dog doesn't exclude you from owning a cat. Cats and dogs can get along if introduced slowly to one another.
Tip 1: Keep your dog on a lead around the cat for the first two weeks
Tip 2: Keep any interaction controlled and calm.
Tip 3: The dog needs to see the cat as part of the household, not as a play toy

The Lost Dogs’ Home is urgently calling on Victorians to open their hearts and homes to our cats with the start of our Cuddle a Cat Adoption drive starting at 10am tomorrow. 🥺

These gorgeous cats need your help! Currently, we have more than 100 cats waiting to be adopted with many more arriving on our doorstep every day, our shelters are facing a tough winter. 🐈

To help get these cuddlebugs home, all cats 6 months and over will be available from this Thursday to Saturday, at a reduced adoption fee of $80. 🐱
