Mum and pups have been given to a foster under another rescue.

Located in Mercer.
A local truckie has rescued a young bitch and her pups.
He needs help finding homes when ready or a rescue with space to take them in.
I'm not in a position to take him more ATM unfortunately.

My 8 year old son got the little boy to purr this morning! Took him a bit longer then his sister to realise he's safe now.
He's so smoochy and lovely. They squeak for attention all the time. Eating well. Already toilet trained. 🥰🥰

Little boy isn't won over yet but I will win him over, I always do 😁

Some lovely person decided to dump these two very underweight and tiny kittens in one of the paddocks recently.
I guess they are between 4-5 weeks old. Thankfully eating. Quite tame but understandably scared.
The female has less white on her face and the boy has more white.
Seems to be a common theme here after three adult cats were dumped here in the last 8 mths too.
The mother of these kittens either wasn't dumped here or she took off.
I still have two traps out just in case.
People sure do suck.

Benny, 4yrs old jack russell, foxie cross needs a new home urgently.

Located in Hawkes bay.

Desexed, microchipped.
medically healthy.
Lives on an orchard.
Great bunny catcher.
Will alert owner if visitors arrive.
Friendly to everyone.
Lives with other dogs.
Sleeps in shed, (shed set up as outside room, TV, stereo, bar, fridge, owner will sleep in shed when rugby is on. Couches and tables etc...owner spends most of his home time in his Shed.

Benny has own bed and blankets at night, night jacket when cold.

Got stuck down a rabbit hole once - too fat!
Up to date flea and worm treatment
Transferred to raw diet. Doing well. Losing extra weight around middle!

Very much loved.
Likes sheep a little too much for the neighbours liking so he's being given marching orders.

Don't believe he has ever been around cats. If he chases sheep and bunnies, cat would probably be seen as prey too.

I will need to confirm vaccine status but I'm sure he's up to date.

HENS NEED HOMES

We have just under 2 weeks until our next 350 hen rescue. No matter what we will remove all hens but how amazing would it be if all hens found their forever homes?!?

If you would like to adopt 16-18 months old brown shaver beautiful girls who deserve to find their forever home then please send us a message with your contact details, photos of hen house and where you are based.

Please note adoption donations per hen do apply and our Auckland adoption points will be Waitoki and Bombay and we will also have our Taranaki adoption point in rural Inglewood.

Today I transported a Kiwi chick from The national Kiwi hatchery Aotearoa down to Gisborne for tag and release! What an amazing experience. 😍
While there for release I got to see a Tuatara that had come out to see what was going on. A WETA that was chillin' and loads of crazy Weka running around like chunky road runners 🤣

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Throughout September we have done:

2500 kms travelled
30 hours of driving
400 hens rescued and rehomed
5 rabbits transported
7 guinea pigs transported
300kgs of hen food fed
5 hay bales used for transport cages
ALOT of hens rehabbed
$200 in medical supplies used for rehab hens

This DOESNT include any of our daily feeding for the permanents, supplies for the permanents or vet bills for the permanents.

We need your help!

All of our donations and personal money has been sucked up to keep us going in September.

The vechile we use to do our rescues and transport every single animal needs new tyres, a service and a wof! All before our next rescue in 2 weeks time!

We need your help to be able to keep traveling to rescue, traveling to transport.

We are a registered charity, we can provide you a reciept for you to claim back on at the end of the year.

But we need your help, we use our own personal vechiles for the rescue and we only have one that can tow. And we have well and truly used and abused it for the sake of the animals and there's just no more money left to keep us legal on the road!

Gorgeous little Duchess was a rescue kitten that came to me as a litter of 3 at two weeks old, roughly 5 years ago.
No one wanted her. People said she looked like a boy. She was not cute. Or too plain looking.
I decided to keep her because I felt that no one really deserved her if they couldn't see what an amazing little gem she was/is.
I'm so glad no one wanted her. I couldn't love her any more if I tried. Absolutely precious 💕

Gorgeous female border collie is looking for a new family. I will add more details as I get them. Located in Gisborne.
I don't think she has been exposed to cats. She is a working dog breed and would likely do very well in agility.

NEW SNIP ‘N’ CHIP CAMPAIGN! 🙌

We are excited to be launching a new Snip ‘n’ Chip campaign for cat owners in Hamilton, Morrinsville, Te Awamutu, Te Kuiti, Tokoroa, and other surrounding areas!

From 5 July 2023, we are working with local participating vet clinics to offer this service to cat owners who are struggling with the cost of desexing and microchipping. Vouchers help those in need get their cat desexed and microchipped for $30.

PLEASE REMEMBER – a limited number of vouchers are available to help those who require financial assistance. Please, only get a voucher if you need one and intend to use it. In the past, we have noticed some vouchers were never used, or bookings were made with vet clinics and never attended 💔 When this happens, it prevents someone else from using the voucher who might really need it.

If you know someone who needs help with the online system, you can register on their behalf. This is before their morning clean but they are well and truly out of the woods!
They are playing so hard to make up for all the lost time of being so weak and unwell before they came to me!
Tomorrow they are going one of my fosters in West Auckland.
They have to put on weight before they can be desexed and chipped.
They can start meeting potential families anytime from now 😊

Nolan - Little grey boy 🥰
His flea infestation wasn't quite as bad as his sister. Still had blood in water for his bath though.
Started playing the following morning.
He is already purring for me when patted. He is super playful! Loves staring at the kids playing near him and meows occasionally for attention. Comes running when we open the door for cuddles.
He has figured out how to find his sister when she hides on top of the litterbox now. And climbs up to join her.
We are working on toilet training now but Nolan loves to play in the litter more then anything atm 🤣
A very sweet boy.

Harper 🥰
She is recovering well from her flea infestation.
Her recovery took a little longer then her brother which isn't surprising considering the amount of blood in the water when she was bathed that first night.
She is adventurous, curious and so sweet.
Now she has found her energy, she loves destroying all my cleaning in their pen 🤣
Throws the p*e pads around and hides underneath them. Climbs up on top of the litter box so her brother meows to find her. She shakes her little b***y to pounce on her brother.
Very playful. So glad to see her full recovery. ❣️

Babies are doing well 🥰
Tabby is a little girl. Grey is a little boy.
Eating well. Lapping well. Haven't figured out the litter tray yet but they are still teeny.

These two were dropped off last night.
I had to bath them due to flea infestation. The water went pink with their own blood coming out of their fur!
Deflead. Wormed. Fed and slept on a heating pad overnight, they are doing well. Playing. Pretty underweight but obviously dumped due to how tame they are. They were found in a box dumped next to a bush on council land in the Waikato. Their rescuer is going to go back and check if there are anymore.
They are so lucky she found them.
They look to be around 5 to 6 weeks old.
Looks like I will be going for a drive today for supplies!
Should be ready in about a month for adoption.
