Mum and dad found me a pet!
He was out in the rain in Arnty Helen’s garden in the early hours of Sunday morning, and then went across the road to hide in the engine of a car 🙈
Mum and dad spent ages looking for him, and were playing mummy cat calls on their phones to make him call back. They tracked him down to a neighbour’s car and managed to get him out from where he was hiding in the belly pan. He’d even been for a ride to the gym and back 😳
On Monday he was very dehydrated and poorly and after being rushed to see our frens at Withy Grove Veterinary Clinic where they looked after him really well, he had to spend a night at Hillcrest Animal Hospital on fluids and obs. Mum spoke to a very tired-sounding vet on Tuesday morning, and it sounded like my little mate had been shouting the house down! They all looked after him so well, and mum and dad are very grateful. They did a lot of ugly crying on Monday, and wouldn’t even let me eat their snotters 😕
He came home and had a little bit of a wobble on Wednesday morning, but we have given him lots of love, cuddles, meat, kitten milk, licks and sniffs and he is now thriving. He sleeps in his carrier next to mum and wakes her up when he has a need. This morning I have helped give him meat, milk, a sponge bath and blankey snuggles.
I lub himb and want to protect and wash him foreber!
So dis is my lil mate Heathcliff, and he’s here to stay 🥰
