P pupdate 🥒...

Thank you so much to everyone reaching out and asking about Pickle. So far we know that Pickle has a condition called Thrombocytopenia, simply meaning the platelet count in her blood is too low. We will be starting her on steroids tomorrow and keeping our fingers crossed that it's something that improves sooner rather than later. We don't know exactly why this has happened, but we'll be doing more bloodwork after steroid treatment is started to find out how she responds, and will go from there. ❤️🥹

Flashback to a weendeer and a baby Christmas bean enjoying their first Christmas together 🎄🥹❄️

Update on P 🥒...

Pickle is currently acting like her normal happy self! If we hadn't done pre-dental bloodwork, we would have never guessed anything was wrong. Pickle has a low platelet count in her blood (platelets help blood to clot). Until we know more, we're making sure she takes it easy and we're monitoring for bruising and bleeding.

My worrying wiener 🥹♥️

Fellow worried weenies (and people) what do you find most comforting when you're struggling with your mental health?

Sometimes anxiety can be difficult to control, am I right? Some days are harder than others, sometimes we don't know why. It can feel like the worst outcome is perpetually right around the corner, making it seemingly impossible to relax, have peace of mind, or live in the moment.

Olive is of course the entire reason I was inspired to write the 'Olive the Worrying Wiener' books, and I'm so grateful to her every single day for being my muse and spirit animal, and especially for being there to comfort me when I need it most!
