Through the Woods Dogventures Through the woods Dogventures is a dog walking company for the more active or even just spoiled pups looking for an adventure.

I started this company to help owners with aggressive or separation anxiety dogs. Everyone wants to go home to a happy dog.

Summer is officially here! Boarding dogs take priority since its unbearably hot to start. Please only reach out for relief walks this week.

Even with shade and water(swimming included) it's dangerous for everyone involved.

No walks this week unless you need a relief. With the extreme heat Monday to Thursday and than boarding dogs Friday to Sunday taking up priority.

Starting May 20 through September 1st
Hikes/walks will be reserved as hourly blocks. Boarding/in home sitting will take priority. Please make other accommodations for daycare or boarding if your dates are unavailable. This is temporary accommodation to beat the heat and crowds.

Once summer hits, Walnut Lane field is typically unavailable for off leash playtime due to summer camps, family parties and various summer activities. There will be days that field time isn't feasible.

Once it becomes too hot; all walks will be an hour or pushed to safe walking times.

Please plan for access to your home if you will not be there for pickup/drop off. This can be a code, key or planned around your schedule. Include where you keep your dog's leash/harness. Pick up time is 15 to 30 minutes before hike.

• Adventure Hikes (1.5-2 hours) - $55 per hike ( 8 to 10, 12 to 2, 4 to 6pm)

Pack hiking offers dogs a range of physical, mental, and social benefits, including:

1. **Physical Exercise** – Helps maintain a healthy weight, builds endurance, and strengthens muscles and joints.

2. **Mental Stimulation** – New scents, sights, and terrain keep their minds engaged, reducing boredom and destructive behaviors.

3. **Socialization** – Improves their ability to interact with other dogs, reinforcing proper behavior and confidence in group settings.

4. **Improved Behavior** – Structured hikes with a pack help dogs learn discipline, impulse control, and how to follow a leader.

5. **Reduced Anxiety & Stress** – The combination of exercise and social bonding lowers stress levels and helps anxious dogs gain confidence.

6. **Strengthened Bond with Humans** – Working together in a pack reinforces trust and communication with the handler.

And yes that is Teddy trying to take down Rei.
