I am back from overseas. I am already booked for the next week and will only be providing 1 to 2 hour walks until the 25th.

Hello friends,

This is a reminder about heat, humidity and your dog. Even with shade, water and going early on the trails our average pace went from 15/20 mintues to 40 mintues to complete 1 mile.

Same trail, same dogs. Hot weather.

Dogventures will be boarding and relief walks only until September 3rd.

Hello friends and pack members!

Due to the high winds, consistent rains and colder weather hikes/walks today are canceled.

You shouldn't hike in mud because it ruins the trails (mudslides, erosion, the river swells with contaminted water) . It also is a concern for falling branches/trees. Both driving to the trails and on the trails.

Lastly, some of your pups even with a jacket get cold!

If your dog needs a relief I can stop by to relieve them in your neighborhood.

Preparing for the upcoming summer and vacations.

Due to the new dogs coming and some dogs aging out. In this update we will discuss the summer, personal time off and boarding dogs with some temporary schedule changes.

March 1st to the 8th I will be taking personal time off. If your dog needs relief or boarding please let me know.

Starting March 18th. All group hikes will be shortened and contain 5 dogs. This allows baths and ample water consumption as the mud and heat hits.

All playtimes, walks and hikes will be accompanied by one of my personal dogs or a matched friend. The option of individual hike is available. Each walk/hike must be SCHEDULED BY OWNER for preferred time/day. Dogs will not be kept for more than 4 HOURS. Price and time will be adjusted depending on the weather, schedule that day and individual dogs needs. Please choose a time you’re home or provide access and a plan on what to do for your pup if you’re not home.

Mondays
1st hike 9am to 12pm
2nd hike 3pm to 6pm

Tuesday through Saturday.
1st hike 8am to 11am
2nd hike 12pm to 3pm
3rd hike 4pm to 7pm

Sunday is reserved for boarding dogs only.

Starting June 1st to September 3rd all weekly group hikes will be canceled. Only boarding, scheduled daycare or walks will be available. A few days a week before/after the heat hits I will schedule small group playdates/walks. This may not be available some weeks from weather or private boarding clients.

Summer Daycare availability open for days where there are no boarding dogs.

This past month had delays and cancelation due to weather, new dogs and alerts to illness.

Luckily, no one has been sick. The sanitizing and notification on individual health continue to do wonders.
