Fans of Gypsey Star - BEHS 644 Gypsy Star was removed from negligent owners in a joint effort between BEHS and law enforcement. She was then awarded to BEHS by the courts.

Gypsy Star will be shown at the 2013 Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society's annual horse expo at their Rescue Horse Training Challenge by her foster, Kaitlyn Glass, on October 19 at the Travis County Expo Center. It does not appear that Gypsy Star was handled prior to coming to BEHS. Gypsy Star has no known health or lameness problems. Gypsy Star is a flashy, good-looking filly. In addition to her col

orful eye appeal, she has nice Quarterhorse conformation with lots of substance and bone. Gypsy is well-proportioned with a refined head, big, expressive eyes, straight legs, and well-muscled hindquarters. This filly is smart and has learned to lead, give to pressure, load in a trailer, and tie. She can be caught and haltered easily, and she will readily lift her feet for the farrier. She has integrated well into a mixed herd and has demonstrated no fear of a variety of animals. Gypsy is athletic, with a high energy level. She has the potential to excel in a variety of competitive disciplines if properly trained. Gypsy Star is competing with Kaitlyn Glass in the youth division of the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She will be available for adoption at the Challenge on October 19th, 2013 at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.
