Out and About at 12:00 pm

Take your training on the road! We will meet at various locations around town and work on our skills in real world settings.

Week 1 will meet at the shelter before heading to our first location.

Dogs with their CGC title will be eligible to test for their Community Canine (CGCU) and Urban Canine (CGCU) titles during this class.

Dogs must have Basic Manners training with any reputable trainer, or instructor approval, to participate.

Outdoor Skills at 1:30 pm

Ready to practice your training outdoors but not ready for the real world? Our Outdoor Skills class will help you bridge the gap between the controlled setting of indoor training, and the unpredictability of the real world. We will work on all of our Basic Manners skills but will be working outside on shelter grounds.

Dogs must have Basic Manners training with any reputable trainer, or instructor approval, to participate.

We’re making a few changes to our upcoming classes schedule.

Confidence Building Games will be moving to TUESDAYS at 6 pm.
Class will be June 10-July 1 (just in time to prepare for 4th of July!)

Out and About and Outdoor Skills classes will begin on Saturday, June 28 (moving from June 14).
Out & About at 12 pm, Outdoor Skills at 1:30 pm.

The next Basic Manners classes will begin on Tuesday, July 15.

Congratulations to our newest graduates-Ruby, Rufus, and Ziva.

Rufus and Ziva had lots of fun working on confidence and body awareness activities. Ruby was under the weather and couldn't make it to class but we hope she'll be better soon!

Congratulations to our newest Canine Good Citizens-Archie (Michelle), Booker (Krista), and Kona (Tyler)!

All three also earned their novice trick dog titles along with Beau (Phil) who already has his CGC.

And, as always, huge thanks to Sophie (Angie) for being the best greeter dog ever.

So proud of everyone for all of their hard work.

It’s !

Whether they come from a shelter, a rescue, or the side of the road, adopting rescue a dog will change your life and theirs.

Special shout out to the rescues that work with our shelter pulling some of the more challenging cases. Taffy's Touch Senior Dog Rescue and Unchained Souls Canine Rescue are just a few of the rescues that have recently helped us out and we are so grateful.

These guys aren’t available, but stop by your local shelter or rescue today and maybe find your next best friend.

Canine Good Citizen Prep and Test
Saturdays, May 10-24 at 2:30 pm

We will spend two weeks preparing for the Canine Good Citizen test and hold the test on week three.

You will be required to have a long line for the second week of class; we’ll have plenty to try out the first week of class.

Confidence Building Games

Saturdays July 12-August 2 at 1:00 pm
4 week class

Confidence is important for every dog; it can help reduce reactivity, decrease stress and anxiety, and help promote overall wellness. We will use games and play to help build your dog’s confidence and give them some coping skills.

Dogs must have Basic Manners training with any reputable trainer, or instructor approval, to participate.

Spending Saturdays with Beau, Jojo, and Ollie is going to be a blast! And when Luka joins us next week we're going to have even more fun. Good times with great dogs and great handlers; does it get any better than that?

Congratulations graduates Archie, Queenie, and Winnie. Cerberus graduated too but couldn't make it to Class. His girlfriends really missed him.🥰

This was such a fun group of dogs and handlers. Every one of them did an amazing job.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to cancel classes for tomorrow. Classes will meet next Saturday, April 26, as usual. We will also be pushing back the start of the next Saturday session to May 3. Emails have been sent out to everyone. Sorry for the inconvenience and hope everyone has a good Easter!
