🎊🎁 HOLIDAY DONATION MATCH - $1,445/$2,000 RAISED SO FAR! 🎁🎊

Only four days into our fundraiser & we're already over halfway to our goal - UNREAL! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far and to all of you sharing our posts to get the word out!! THANK YOU! 🥹❤

Today's featured animal is Fritz! He came to the shelter as a stray back in October. Fearful at first, he quickly warmed up and showed us his goofy personality. Being a German Shepherd at only 7 months old, this guy has tons of energy to go around! He'd do great in an active home & wouldn't mind having another dog friend to play with. If you're interested in Fritz, please fill out an adoption application on our website: ruskanimals.com, or the paper version at the shelter. 💚

Noticing the amount of animals coming to us this year requiring extra time & medical care, a couple of pawsitively amazing community members have committed to a matching gift of up to $2,000 to our shelter this holiday season! That means any donation you make will have *DOUBLE* the impact. If the match is met, a total of $4,000 will be going towards the care of RCAS animals! 😻🎉

We'll be posting reminders each day until December 13th (last day to hit matching goal!) while featuring one of our currently adoptable animals here on our page! 🐶😺💕

🐾🐾🐾HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN DONATION MATCH🐾🐾🐾

🔹ONLINE: Head to the donate button on the bottom of our website: ruskanimals.com and select "General Donations" for what to use the donation for & put "Holiday Match" in the optional note section!

🔹CHECK: Make out to Rusk County Animal Shelter and put "General Fund - Holiday Match" on the memo line. Checks can be mailed to 200 Doughty Road, Ladysmith, WI 54848 or 311 Miner Ave East Ladysmith, WI 54848!

🔹CASH: Stop into the shelter, located at 200 Doughty Road, Ladysmith, to drop off monetary donations - make sure to let the staff member know you are specifically donating towards the Holiday Match fundraiser & to say hello to some of our furry friends while there!

🐾❤️ We are extremely grateful for every donation that comes our way. Each one makes a difference & helps save lives! As always, thank you SO much for the continued support!! ❤️🐾

After receiving over $21,000 worth of applications in a two-week period, PAWS is taking a pause (no pun intended) to check our finances and give the vets a chance to get all these surgeries scheduled in their already overwhelming schedules. We WILL be getting certificates out to the 20 people who applied after we originally announced this pause in November over the next week or so. After our January board meeting, we will make a new announcement. Thank you for your patience! This is a great time to get involved if you're interested in helping with our program!

We've received 73 applications for spay/neuter assistance in just 3 days! That's amazing! Please be patient with our team as they process the application and get the vouchers in the mail. We are a VERY small volunteer team. If you are planning on applying, please remember that due to certificates coming in the mail, you should plan to apply at least 2 weeks before your pet's surgery is scheduled.

Please help out!!

➡️➡️Collecting for our silent auction/sale we will have during our open house (dates coming soon)! We are happy to take just about anything except the typical items like large appliances, clothing (unless it'd name brand or specialty item etc: Harley jacket), electronics.⬅️⬅️

🐾Baskets will be made for our silent auction. Funds raised will go towards the care of our current cats, medical needs, and future care until they find their home

🐾Other items will be sold as is (mini garage sale). Funds raised will be set aside. The plan is to fix the van, however, we may hold onto it to ensure we can care for any needs the cats may have until they find their home.

➡️➡️Due to limited time/volunteers, we ask for items to be dropped off at the HTTR Barron location. Just drop off in front of the garage or if it's raining under the awning of the milk house. Send us a message letting us know you dropped off! We sure to APPRECIATE your donation/s and time! ⬅️⬅️
