I always enjoy a day in the snow with some of my favorite pups!! Gabby demands a walk, no matter the weather, she just doesn’t care for big winds and thunder! Hudson is a little choosy about the weather but Sully, he wants to always go out as well. Ceasar is also picky, he doesn’t care for the heat, but if I was wearing the coat he has, I wouldn’t either. Nala, loves to go all the time. Walter, well that sweet sugar face will do anything for a cookie, but puts the breaks on when he’s done!

Our hearts go out to Cpl Johnson and the Charleston PD - Rest Easy Rex ❤️‍🩹

It is with great sadness that I am reporting a loss in our CPD Family.

K-9 Rex had to be euthanized today due to some major health issues that could not be remedied through surgery or medicinal treatment.

Rex served in the Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Network Team in varying capacities, specifically detecting narcotics in packages and parcels. Rex was very successful in his work and was a very loyal partner to Cpl. Johnson.

Rex was 8 ½ years old. He will be missed by everyone, especially those who worked directly with him.

Please keep Cpl Johnson in your thoughts and prayers.

Rest in Peace Rex.

With the forecast calling for frigid temperatures and heavy winds, we will be opening a Warming Center tonight at Bream Neighborhood Bream SHOP-Showers + Healthcare Outreach Program

All are welcome

The loss of a dog team member is a loss to the whole team, but most especially to the human partner. Our hearts go out to Emylee Frazier at the loss of her partner Quest. Quest was a loving goofy boy at home. On a trail, however, he was all working dog. He was invaluable in searches throughout his life, and his love of the work never flagged. For those who knew him well, there is a big Quest-shaped hole in the world now. We will miss him, and we will remember him. Thank you for your service, Quest and Emylee.
