Our Story

We owe our company roots to our first dog, Stella. Stella is a Havipoo (Havanese + Poodle mix) and she is an extremely picky eater! When she was on a kibble diet she would refuse to eat and go on “hunger strikes.” As frustrated pet owners, we tried to find any solution hidden between the countless veterinarian visits and diet switches.

We looked for healthier dog food options that we could trust, but we could not find anything we liked. ​Instead of giving up, we dove in (our kitchen) and Barkful was born. We started Barkful with the hope of providing healthy and nutritional meals (a.k.a real food) to all pets.

Our goal is as simple as that. We, at Barkful, hope you and your Best Bud can join in our mission too.
