Recycled Bark Box for outreach dogs
Our outreach dogs are typically lonely tethered or kenneled yard dogs. We recently hooked this guy up with a baby pool, a fenced play yard for when his owner can supervise him off of his tether and a new toy all thanks to our donors! #canineoutreach
Only 4 years old and darn near destroyed! 😡 Luckily this pup had advocates who brought him to our attention so we could extract him before he was put down. After a week with our veterinarian, Dudley now starts his next chapter in foster care. He’s got a long recovery road ahead but he will get all of the food, medicine and love he needs to restore him fully! Only happy days ahead for this guy. Thank you to everyone who has advocated and donated for this guy!
Caught a demon 😈 by the tail! 😳
Update in comments - had to call in a superhero to save this little stick of dynamite!
Saved a furry fireball this morning while out seeing some #canineoutreach pups. Pitiful kitty sitting in the middle of the road looking sweet. Damn thing turned into a beast outta the depths of hell when I tried to capture it tho. I literally could only grab it by the tail (I hate doing that) as it tried to squeeze thru a fence. Shout out to Dr Moore at Walking on The Moon Animal Hospital for squeezing us in after closing time to pop out the bot fly larvae and inject antibiotics. We rarely intake cats but whatcha gonna do when something this pathetic is in your path 🤷♀️. Now taking gender neutral name suggestions as I forgot to have the vet look for that important detail before releasing this ball of fire back into the dog crate. I suspect we will need an adopter in 2-4 weeks also.
We meet some of the cutest kids while visiting homes to do our #canineoutreach operations. This little girl was always a joy and made our visits very comical. Sadly the family moved away so we don’t see her anymore, but this video is too precious not to share. We are always happy to explain to the kids what we are doing to improve their dogs’ quality of life, and we hope we plant seeds for those kids to be superior pet parents when they grow up. #cutekids #volunteering
This #canineoutreach pup is so silly and always makes us laugh with her antics. She gets super excited when we take her out for a walk, but she’s never booped a volunteer in the butt before 😂. She was like tag, you’re it!
Just a bit of fun with this squishy meat head who lives next door to one of our #canineoutreach dogs. He’s not in our program as his owner takes care of his needs, but he still always gets our love and treats. He gets just as excited as any of our program dogs when he sees us pull up. We’re kinda like the dog version of an ice cream truck I guess 😆. Thank you to our donors who keep us well stocked with treats so we can be super generous.
Water loving puppies
Play yard time for our foster puppies is so much better with a pool 😆.
The only thing cuter than new rescue puppies has got to be adorable kids loving on them puppies. We are ever so grateful for fosters who keep our pups safe and to donors who keep us financially afloat! We also need followers to comment and share which is the easiest way to be a part of our team. ❤️ #puppylove
New dog house seems scary until a friend climbs in first.
A terrific donor sent us a really nice dog house recently, and we decided that it was Chopper’s turn for an upgrade. We didn’t think it would be so scary for him but thankfully his friend was there to show him it was alright! Chopper’s owner reports that he now loves the house and it stays much cleaner inside than his old one because of the elevated design. #canineoutreach
A couple years ago we met this #canineoutreach girl in a fly infested filthy area on a short chain. We have been periodically upgrading her living conditions ever since, and this is the latest change. We added a panel to her 10’x10’ kennel to give her an extra 50 square feet. Eventually we will get her one more panel so she will have 10’x20’ total area but we also have tethered dogs on the waiting list for kennels that take priority. We try to unchain dogs before worrying about increasing their kennel size but Precious benefitted from a single panel that was donated. We always need more chain link panels so plz message if you are in our area and have some you aren’t using.
