$5 Friday because you can’t pour from an empty cup and ours is empty.

Friends, we have lots to update you on but I will try to give you a short recap. On Wednesday Chris started having severe abdominal pain, he worked, did some running around and finally went to urgent care in the pm, he was diagnosed with appendicitis and was transferred to a wonderful hospital for emergency surgery. Unfortunately by the time he got in to surgery his appendix had ruptured allowing infection to spill into his belly. They flushed all of it and placed a drain.

That night he had such severe pain he could barely breath, he’s been battling fevers, vomiting, some blood pressure and O2 saturation issues but most of all fear. He’s scared.

We aren’t able to do any rescue stuff right now, we aren’t able to do work, we aren’t able to really do life without each other. To add to our extreme heart break, we lost a dog in the dog house and I will share that soon but including it in this post will not do her justice and I just don’t have the emotional capacity to go there right now.

If you can find it in your heart to help us continue to keep the rescue going while we work to keep each other going, we would be forever grateful.
