It’s official…

🎉🎉🎉 Jimmy has left the building 🎉🎉🎉

Jimmy came to us terrified and emaciated. It took several days for him to come out of his room and realize that people are awesome. Jimmy is beyond perfect and we couldnt figure out how he was in our care for so long.

Our friends at Lenawee Humane Society had a spot open up and welcomed Jimmy to their shelter where he can work on finding his forever home.

We are going to miss this boy so much, but we cannot wait for him to find his family and we hope they’ll send us updates 😂

🐕 He loves other dogs, loves people, loves to play outside AND is potty trained and crate trained!

This little 1 year old is hanging out with his foster family but is definitely ready to find his forever.

🤍‼️ SPOT UPDATE ‼️🤍

Our bravest boy had not one, not two, but TEN fractures in his front right leg 😭 And despite all of the pain and fear he must have been feeling, Spot has remained the sweetest, most loving boy 🥹

Spot had his leg amputated and is being weaned off of Fentanyl prior to being released from emergency. He also received a much needed bath - who knew he could be even more handsome?

We are so thankful that our friends at The Karens were able to rescue Spot yesterday, and that our friends at AEC Novi are giving him the BEST care ❤️‍🩹

🆘 7 emergency intakes 🆘

You might be wondering, how does this happen when it’s S*x and The Pitties day? Because rescue 👏🏻 never 👏🏻 stops 👏🏻

We have 6 dogs who found life saving reprieve in our shelter today as they were without proper housing, water, etc and in the current heat - their lives were at stake.

And then came this sweet boy Spot. Spot was severly injured by another dog and came to us with a broken leg, open wounds, and in a lot of pain. We rushed Spot to emergency where friend Dr. Jessica will take good care of him. Spot will unfortunately need his leg amputated.

We really could use help as these emergency intakes are costly, but we cannot turn our back on these dogs. They deserve better.
Our estimated cost is around $4,000. Please help if you are able.
