We are so excited for DACOF this weekend. I’ve been fine tuning my handling to be a better teammate for Rowan. The first few clips we cleaned up our entry to the weaves and then by adding a verbal directional in the last clip Rowan was able to correctly discriminate between the tunnel and the jump. #trainingtuesday #agilitycorgi

We had a blast playing our favorite games with our hooman this weekend. Gideon earned two new titles and officially completed Level 1. Rowan had a fantastic weekend as well, qualifying in 7/8 games and placing in the top 3 for 8/8. 🥇🥇 #agilitycorgi

At a recent trial, another handler said to me after this run, ‘boy, she keeps you honest’. The mistakes we made were errors in my communication. I was ahead of the weave entry causing us to reset and my feet were pointed at the wrong end of the tunnel causing an off-course, but neither one of us cared. We had a blast running this course and I cherish every moment Rowan is able to do what she loves. Thank you baby girl for this incredible journey!❤️ #teamwork #lifelessons #dogtraining

We saved a few potential off course calls only to end with a back jump at the last obstacle. Clearly Rowan didn’t care because it’s all just for fun. We are allowed an off course in level 3 so we still squeaked out a qualifying score. 🎉

Here is our standard run from the trial this weekend. We placed 3rd in this class and found out today we had the 2nd highest total trial points for our novice jump height. Considering we haven't trained in a couple of months we are over the moon.
