Bash, Riley, and Zoey recently came for their grooming ! They had a lot of hair and couldn’t see. But Carrie took good care of Bash the Aussiedoodle and Riley the Giant Schnauzer. I took care of Miss Zoey and tried some Asian Fusion on her. Everyone is clean and serene 🥰🥰

April showers bring May flowers, and Honey is ready to bloom! 🌷🐾 Her purple is still poppin’ 💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️ Not only did she get some much needed relaxation, play some, but then she showed us her model poses too!! 🤳🏼📸😎. Little model in the making.

Little baby Nino came yesterday for his first visit at the spa and Carrie worked wonders on him! He had several tangles and was overgrown but she managed to save a lot to make him still cute. Look how happy he is now!!

THE WAIT IT OVER!! Our books for April1-May4 are now open for our CURRENT clients. We will open to potential new ones beginning Friday March 29th! If you have not created an account with us or it has been several months since you have been to the salon, the system will mark you as an 'inactive' client and we would need to reset for you. There’s no “I” in “TEAM”! Today is Employee Appreciation Day!!!
Although they are on payroll, Leigha, Carrie, and Natasha I do not consider them employees. We are more like a family where each plays a major role. LEIGHA — I’ve known Leigha and her fam since she was 14! Leigha is the person most of you speak to when chatting about questions appointments, vaccinations whatever! It’s not me! She checks you in and out most days, cleans up alot of accidents pets make, even bathes some dogs and helps us with wild pups. She has a great sense of humor and loves the pups! Bring her spaghetti and your guaranteed to get a free service 🤣🤣
CARRIE — “Momma” Carrie recently completed her pet grooming certification and has a strong knowledge of pets, business and life! She is a woman veteran, wife, mother and dog a mom. She keeps us grounded, entertained and well fed. Her husband is a dog trainer ( ) so she is able to use tips and tricks when grooming to keep the pets calm. She is passionate about grooming and is available several days a week to take care of your pets!
NATASHA — Natasha was my first student I took in to train last year and also recently completed her grooming certification. She works full time but dedicated Saturdays for several months to complete her grooming training. She worked at petco as a bather for a while prior to investing in herself to learn more about grooming. She is patient, the dogs love her cuddling them and her serenades. They help everything flow, love on your pets and very important to the spa! I appreciate each of you guys and am happy of your progress!!! Be sure you show them some love💜💕

As #2023 winds down, here is a recap of our year! We groomed a bunch of pups named Max, mainly Yorkies, and our online booking has been successful in keeping us efficient in the salon. Some may not enjoy online booking but scheduling is a FULL TIME JOB! Instead of hiring another staff member at this time to do only scheduling, we use .pet ! It helps us reduce the time on the phone or with those who are inquiring about services or just price shopping. The Marshall’s came yesterday for a FAMILY spa day!! Paris got her nails painted red and green, Samantha got her first grooming and honestly didn’t care for it😅, and Teddy kept us on our toes from the moment he walked in until he left! Thank you to the Marshall family for trusting all of us with their fur family!!

Did you know:: Traditionally, Schnauzers are not groomed with clippers but are hand stripped. The Schnauzer trim was to protect them from any injury and create a strong yet agile appearance. They were bred as multifunctional dogs to catch rats and other rodents, as livestock and guard dogs, and they have also carried messages in times of war, helped the Red Cross and been police dogs! I shock myself with some of my grooms😅😮💨 The first photo is Grady after four weeks of hair and the second is my cut after. He was in Need of some shaping and tapering but mom was so happy when she picked up, she walked to the car and put him in then came back and said “he looks GREAT!” What do you think? Hey guys!! I’ve decided to open next Tuesday, November 23, to help those who may have missed out on getting a groom before Thanksgiving. Please note BATHS ONLY will be performed on pets! No hair cutting will be done due to limited time and availability. Your pet must be 50 pounds or less, tangle free and current on his or her vaccinations (proof required NO TAGS ACCEPTED) If you’re interested, please text BATH to 218-422-3770 and I’ll get your fur baby taken care of!!
