Wagging Tails Dog Walking Service Dog walking service. I am offering a dog walking service for residents of Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. I will walk only one dog at a time. I do not do group walks.
(1)

I am an experienced dog owner, having had dogs myself my entire life since I was 18 months old. The largest number of dogs I had was eight after I took several rescue dogs in. When I am responsible for someone so important as your furry, four-legged family member, I will not take the risk of anything happening, such as him/her running off or getting into a scuffle, hence the one-to-one walks. If,

however, you have two dogs yourself who get on okay, I will walk them both at the same time for you for the same price. The cost per walk is ₤10. Each walk will last 30 minutes (not including my travelling time). The actual walk is 30 minutes. I will collect your dog from your home by car and bring him/her back by car after the walk. I don't mind what size of dog. I don't mind what breed of dog. I don't mind if your dog is young and exuberant and not very good on a lead. I don't mind if your dog likes to walk fast and pulls like a train. I don't mind if your dog is elderly and just wants to walk around slowly and sniffs a lot. I don't mind if your dog is "difficult" - I have dogs myself now and one is dog-aggressive and one is nervous and not friendly towards people. So I just modify the walk accordingly so we go on a route that does not involve meeting other dogs or people. If your dog requires a muzzle to go out, I am happy to walk him/her as long as you put on the muzzle before we set off. I am happy to walk your dog in a collar, harness, or what ever type of lead you choose, as long as it is secure. I am 5ft 7ins tall and can handle bigger, strong dogs without a problem. If you are worried your dog does not take well to new people, I'm happy to come round and meet him/her first to see if we'll get on. I have been bitten by dogs. I have broken up dog fights. I have no fears of dogs and usually get on with all of them. I never blame the dog for bad behaviour - it is not their fault. Some dogs, like some people, are nervous and grumpy. So if you're worried your dog is snappy with new people, again, I will be happy to come round to meet him/her to assess whether we will be friends. I will walk in all weathers. If your dog doesn't mind the rain, nor do I.

Max is doing very well in his new home with Homeless Hounds' long term foster dog mum, where he'll live for life ❤️ His diabetes is under control and he has eye drops to help his condition. If anyone can find it in your heart to donate to my cousin Linda's fundraiser for Homeless Hounds, this would be a huge help for this small Lancashire dog rescue. Vet bills aren't cheap, as we know! Thank you.

Dear friends and family, I know I'm pushing this, but only because it's important to me personally. My lovely cousin Linda Enfield (a big dog lover like me) has personally worked tirelessly to save this elderly diabetic dog's life.

She heard by chance his owner was very ill and could no longer keep Max because he was having to leave his home due to his health issues and needing care.

The future looked bleak for Max as no one wanted him due to the costs of his medication for the rest of his life.

Then Homeless Hounds, a Lancashire animal rescue charity, stepped forward to save him at the eleventh hour and have found him a lovely home for life.

The sad thing is Homeless Hounds can't afford to take in any more dogs as all their premises and foster homes are full and funds are low.

They don't want to turn any needy dog away but can't realistically save them without funding in place!

Sadly we've had a very poor response to the fundraiser and will have very little to give the charity when the appeal ends 😒😒

I know we're all enduring the cost of living crisis and many of us have our own pets too. But if you could just spare £2, or if not take a minute to share the appeal, you could save a dog's life.

A lot of you know me personally in the real world, or have known me on Facebook, often through animal rescue, for about 10 years! I wouldn't attach my name and reputation to a fundraiser if I didn't know it was genuine and worthwhile.

Thank you hopefully.
