Edwardsville has a special place in my heart because it's one of the places I got my start! Last year at the fair, someone came up to me and reminded me of the Octopus Pin that they bought from me during my BFA studies! 🤯 It's wild to see patrons collecting my work as I've crafted and honed my style over the past two decades! All of this has helped me grow into the artist I am today, so thank you. Watching you all collect and add to your collections fill me with so joy. I reached out to another long time collector who I knew had an octopus, swipe to see theirs!

Megan and I can't wait to hang out with you all at 's Art Fair this weekend! Catch us in my usual booth!

Can't wait to see my favorite Indiana friends at ! This show is so special to me because of all of the great patrons and volunteers who make it so. Working with gold is like working with butter. You can’t change my mind. It’s beautifully rich and soft. It moves beautifully and with little resistance when you’ve properly warmed it up. And it’s absolutely delicious when you use it with reckless abandon. See? I could have been talking about gold or butter! But, seriously. This trio was part of a set of six solid gold stunners and I’m just chuffed that you all have loved them as much as I do. You’ve been eating them up! I’m so grateful that you all are supporting my butter…I mean gold…addiction. These pieces are radiant reflections of the love, light, and support from you and everyone else who collects my work.

If I made a ring for myself, it would be this one. I’m going to keep this short, because there just aren’t words. Wouldya just look at her? A *stunning* light brown pear shaped diamond at nearly 2ct in solid 18k with cognac, champagne, and light brown accent diamonds. She’s lucky she found her home fast or I’d be keeping her.

If you’re feeling sparkle inspired, get a hold of me and let’s make a custom one!

the moon pulling tides,
the sun warming seaside shores -
surf and sand inspire

In the warmer months of the year, color inevitably finds its way into my work in a bigger and bolder way. I’m usually a warm neutral girlie, myself. But, once I’ve spent too much time in my neutrals I find myself craving the splashes of bright colors and combinations. Vibrant blue in rich 18k yellow was all I wanted in this ring after several days playing in the surf and sand. Dark teals go to light aqua and white like waves washing up on golden shores. Can you feel the sand in between your toes? Can you hear the gentle splash? Come with me!

welcome possibilities
orange, trailing sunshine

Can we talk about the universe that floats in this stunning orange diamond? I have been in love with this diamond since I picked her out several years ago. Years. Sometimes you pick a stone that’s just too special to create with right away. I wanted to sit with it, enjoy it, admire it, stare deep into it. What came out of this connection formed with this stone is more beautiful than I anticipated. Solid 18k gold with orange, cognac, and champagne diamonds for accents with my classic sun dust texture. She’s fiery, spicy, and full of character.

I love pieces that offer laidback, everyday elegance. These are the kinds of pieces that become so personal and lend to the wearer's identity. Whether you layer her with all of your favorite pieces or add her as a delicate finish to an evening look, this is the type of tiny shiny that becomes a part of you.

I love love! And I especially love it when I love the people whose love I’m celebrating and creating for!

I was fortunate enough to meet one awfully stormy . Her and her partner, Spencer, were looking for custom rings to represent their unique love story and I love how these turned out. These pieces are born out of a collaboration between friends and artists. Since their making, they’ve been well traveled as they made their way with me from the Midwest, to Pensacola, to Birmingham and then the couple exchanged vows with them in Scotland! I know these rings will live a life of beauty and adventure on these good hands.

Artist Statement

I use silver and gold to create unique fine jewelry that accentuates every individual’s personal sense of style. I fabricate all pieces using a variety of techniques and often incorporate precious, semi-precious and non-precious stones. I find inspiration in the process that brings metal and stone from the earth to a completed piece. The extraction of rough elements and the refinement of those materials stimulate my desire to further refine while enhancing the original natural aspects. It is a give and take between the material and myself. While aesthetically pleasing from a distance, the full reward comes from leaning in and pouring oneself into a piece and focusing on its intricacies.

I started working with metals in 2006 at the Craft Alliance in St. Louis and instantly fell in love with the material. I moved on to obtain her BFA in Metalsmithing at SIUE under the tutelage of Paulette Myers. After undergrad I worked at James Durbin Jewelry Design under Roger Rimel where I honed my fine metal and jewelry skills. I currently live and create in Edwardsville, IL amidst fruit trees, a hop farm, and two feisty pups. I travel to display and sell my work in various shows and galleries.
