A great one to end July with!!! A total of 60 new designs this month (plus another 4 awesome sports designs I’ll share later this week!)

I still plan to stitch out some new Gabby’s friends as well as Sonic’s pals, but now that we’re in August, it’s time for this teacher to switch gears-so posts will definitely be slowing in frequency.

I want to get back into Fall Fairs this year (especially in the Metairie area). If you have connections with those who are hosting, I’d appreciate being passed any info for registering.

If you give a Mouse a hooded towel, he’s going to want to take a bath. When he gets to the tub, he’ll ask you for a bath bomb. Using the bath bomb will remind him of a slime kit he hasn’t used. When he’s made his slime, he’ll have made a huge mess and he’ll ask you for another bath. And chances are, if he asks for a second bath-he’ll want a new hooded towel to go with it. 😊

My towel prices have been the same as they were when I opened my Etsy shop 10 years ago. I’ve been postponing a price change as long as possible, but all of my supplies have gone up in cost too drastically to absorb it anymore. I didn’t want to spring it on yall, and wanted to give you the time to order anything you’ve had your eye on. I was planning to raise the price at the end of August in time for fall fairs, but with back to school expenses, I’m pushing it to the end of September for my current customers. Any order placed before October 1 will still be the $30 price-so start planning your Christmas presents now!! 😊

At this time all extras-personalization, 3D, yarn braid are the same additional price. Tumbler and Glitter globe prices are also remaining the same.

I cannot tell you how HAPPY I am to have a non3D version of Stitch!!! He is such a loved character, but the 3D version and I have never gotten along-those adorably large ears always got tangled in my other needles while everything stitched out. He was always my number one most hated to make- and now I can completely remove him from the lineup!!!

This new Stitch and Angel are so so adorable and SOOO much better behaved. 😂

I’ve reached my goal of 50, but we’re going to keep going since July isn’t over! So here are today’s new towel designs!!...

I’ve reached my goal of 50, but we’re going to keep going since July isn’t over! So here are today’s new towel designs!! A couple more Pokemon characters. I already have Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur. But we’re adding Char’s big bro to the family- and finally a non3D version of Pikachu (because as cute as the 3D is,trying to flip those giant vinyl ears right side out usually ended with my fingers cramping and quite a bit of colorful language.)

This 🦋 one is extra special. A customer reached out asking specifically for a Monarch Butterfly for a special insect lover’s birthday. There are many butterfly appliqué designs out there, but none that are Monarchs. So I tasked my husband with designing one. He’s digitized several elf items in the past and made alterations to existing designs, but this is the first full towel design he’s done. And I’m super excited that we managed to pass the butterfly expert’s test!!!

Wednesday was originally designed to be 3D-with yarn braids. This is the only way everyone else with this design is able to make her. I’m trying to get completely away from 3D these days. Hey ya'll!! I wanted to ask you again for your input- since it was so helpful earlier this month. As you may have seen, I set myself a goal this month to stitch 50 new towel designs that I have never done before. Spoiler Alert- I have already surpassed that goal! 🎉 I have a few more stacked here waiting for me to photograph them, and a couple queued up for the machine right now- but after that, I don't know where to go! I've been on a roll and I'm not ready to call it quits yet- all of these new designs have been a ton of fun. I had a survey a few weeks ago, and ya'll were so great voting for what you wanted to see without knowing the exact characters. Well now, I'm asking who you want to see specifically.

This list is all of the characters I have in my files that I have not yet done. I've already removed the ones from this list that I've done this week (if you don't see someone who was on the poll before but hasn't been released yet- they're coming soon!)

Funny story. Last Saturday night I suddenly ran completely out of black thread. I had an order already placed with my online supplier, but it’s taking longer than I expected and my local shop was closed until Monday. But on Sunday I wanted to stitch more new designs!!! So I went digging through my files for anything that didn’t use any black- and found this cutie that I had completely forgotten about!!!
