51st and 52nd International Dog Show Maastricht, Netherlands.
Yesterday Bono, 18 months old, was very stressed and impressed by the scenery. He barked at the judge and was a bit shy. Because of that the judge gave im a very good. Just a second after this decision was made, Bono came down and the judge could cuddle him. But unfortunately that was a bit too late. 🤷‍♀️
Today I thought we would do another show training. But Bono felt much more comfortable in the halls than yesterday. He was still a bit shy but nothing compared to yesterday. What shall I say: excl. 1, CACIB and BOB!
I know we still have to practice a lot more. But it's getting better from show to show. And I hope he will soon totally forget all about the bad experience he has made with his very first judge.

Club Show and breeding approval, Hilden, Germany, last Saturday .
Bono, 15 months young, entered in intermediate class: excl. 1, CAC, BOB and a fabulous judge report 😃!
After the show there was still the breeding approval to do. Bono was very tired and nervous but when Irish Red Setter Breeder Thomas Hoevener took the leash and I went away some meters, Bono let check his molars while looking at me 😃. Bono now has almost everything he needs for the breeding permission. There is just one thing left: he needs to be 18 months old before he is allowed for breeding.😅

Caniscaeli Bono Anamgadhar, 14 months old, started in Junior Class at VDH Europasieger-Show, Dortmund, Germany, yesterday. He was very impressed by the scenery and all the noise, but he liked the judge, Mr Di Matteo, Domenico (IT), who was very sensitive with the dogs. And the judge liked Bono: Bono got V1 (excl.1), the candidacy for the title „FCI-International Youth Champion“ and "German Youth Champion (VDH)", the title "VDH-Europa-Jugendsieger", "Bester Junghund der Rasse" (best junior dog of the breed), he got the Crufts qualification and BOB. I am so proud of Bono! I never ever expected this young dog to win the BOB against the 4 adult IRWS. But I know we still have to do a lot more show training. That's why we went to the Frühjahrssieger Show today, to get some more practice for Bono. Today there were only 2 IRWS. 5 IRWS were absent. I think 2 days in the big halls of Dortmund were too much for Bono. The judge, Mr Eberhardt, Jochen H. (DE), couldn't judge Bono because he tried to hide behind me as soon as the judge looked at him. That was sad but ok for me as I took todays show more like a training for Bono.
Over the next months we will practice intensively and I hope at Crufts 2025 Bono can show everyone what a sweet dog he really is.
But for now he needs a big nap!😍

Wir sind zurück aus Hilpoltstein, wo mein Bono (Caniscaeli Bono Anamgadhar) mit seinen 13 Monaten gestern noch einmal die Jugendsuche im Verein für Pointer und Setter, LG S/T/S-A, rockte. Es hat uns beiden wieder so viel Spaß gemacht. Bonos Leistung war sogar noch besser als vor knapp 2 Wochen: 10 Punkte in allen Prüfungsfächern! Nur zum Sekundieren kam gestern kein Hund bei der Jugendsuche.
Ich bin so wahnsinnig stolz auf meinen "Kleinen", der wie letztes mal der jüngste Hund der Prüfungstages war.
Es ist immer ein absolutes Gänsehaut-Erlebnis, wenn so ein junger Setter zeigt, dass er genau weiß, wofür die Rasse gezüchtet wurde. 😍

Mein süßer "kleiner" Bono (Caniscaeli Bono Anamgadhar) hat einen Tag nachdem er 13 Monate alt wurde, als jüngster Hund und einziger IRWS die Jugendsuche im Verein für Pointer und Setter, LG Sachsen/Thüringen/Sachsen-Anhalt, mit 65 Punkten bestanden. Er war wohl noch etwas geschafft von den Trainingstagen und konnte nicht ganz das zeigen, was ŵirklich in ihm steckt. Trotzdem bin ich wahnsinnig stolz auf den kleinen Mann. Sowohl er als auch ich haben in den letzten 10 Tagen so viel dazugerlernt. Beim Training und auch bei der Prüfung haben wir auch wieder lauter sehr nette Leute und tolle Hunden kennengelernt bzw. endlich mal wiedergesehen. Es war eine richtig schöne Zeit, für die ich mich bei den Organisatoren beider Veranstaltungen ganz herzlich bedanke. Ganz besonders bedanke ich mich bei Claudia Pelka für das tolle Training und ihren Glauben an Bono.

Bundessiegershow Dortmund: first show for my sweet little 7 months old Caniscaeli Bono Anamgadhar.
Puppy class: very promising 😍
Bono moved quite good, but he was very impressed by the noise level, all the people and all the dogs. He couldn't stand still in the ring but the judge was very kind and patient. She could even have a good look at his teeth.

Simbic's Fianna becomes 9 years old today, her second litter with Anamgadhar Bealfire (Cooper), Bronagh (Blix), Bailey, Brianna and Bébhinn become 3 years old today. I am sure your families pamper you even more than on a normal day. 😃
It's so unbelievable sad that their sisters Béabhar and Bee have to celebrate her birthday at the rainbow bridge. 😢 Wish you two were still here.

Please welcome our new family member CANISCAELI BONO.
After the long journey from Canada to Wassenberg, Germany, we gave him some time to come down, meet the girls and get back some energy.
This is our very first walk since he's arrived in Germany yesterday. Fianna joined us.

I am sure you are having a great birthday party in heaven with Ihsai, Inge, your brothers and sisters and your daughters and sons. But I wish you would still be here wirh me. You left me more than 2 years ago but the pain of loosing you is still huge. I miss you infinitely, will always do.

Today is a great birthday-day at Anamgadhar: it's the 8th birthday of our Simbic's Fianna and the 2nd birthday of her 2nd litter. Her daughter Anamgadhar Bronagh (Blix) and her owners Stefanie and Bernhard have come all the way from Austria to celebrate this special day with her mum and her sister Bébhinn.
Fianna sends kisses to her offsprings and Anamgadhar Bronagh and Bébhinn send sweet birthday wishes to their siblings Baelfire, Brianna, Béabhar, Bailey. They hope to meet them next year.

Anamgadhar Bébhinn ist am Sonntag die Jugendsuche beim Verein für Pointer und Setter, LG Sachsen/Thüringen/Sachsen-Anhalt, gelaufen. Es hätte kaum besser laufen können: meine kleine Bébhinn (Celtic Red and White Orson x Simbic's Fianna) hat mit super tollen 80 Punkten bestanden!
Dabei standen die Zeichen alles andere als gut: da Fianna und Sorcha eigentlich Anfang April Welpen kriegen sollten, erklärte sich mein guter Freund Ralf dazu bereit, mit Bébhinn für die Jugendsuche zu trainieren und sie auf der Prüfung als Erstführer zu führen. Gestern war es dann so weit: in Uichteritz starteten die beiden zunächst zusammen mit einer tollen Pointerhündin im Paargang, in dem beide Hunde achnell zeigten was in ihnen steckt. Ich kann es immer noch nicht glauben. 80 Punkte!!!
Vielen Dank an die Richter Hans Meier, Tanja Pankotsch und Sandra Steller. Mein größter Dank geht aber natürlich an Ralf, der für mich dieses Abenteuer trotz völliger Ahnungslosigkeit bestritten hat, mit Bébhinn trainierte und dann die Prüfung gelaufen ist. Aber ohne das tolle Training von Claudia Pelka und Melanie Schleifring hätten Ralf und Bébhinn keine Chance gehabt. Danke, Danke, Danke! Danke auch an die LG Sachsen/Thüringen/Sachsen-Anhalt des Vereins für Pointer und Setter für die gute Orga und an den Revierinhaber für das Bereitstellen der Prüfungsflächen.
