Update on our sanctuary girl, Ivy…
It’s hard to tell from our video, as she was more nervous after the vet but Ivy’s symptoms have changed to more so circling and a head tilt with balance issues.
No obvious orthopedic issues on exam & her bloodwork was normal.
Our vet is considering this a vestibular event but we are ruling out toxoplasmosis as a precaution. She’s only about 6 years old but we can’t rule out a stroke or brain tumor, though unlikely that.
We’re keeping her confined and treating with vestibular disease type meds.
Her bill was more then anticipated at $350. We’re now closed to any new intakes or other vet visits until we raise at least some towards her care.
Took us almost 6 months but this feral born boy has finally started coming around & letting us pet him! 🩵🧡
He’s still a little hesitant with some occassional swats and love bites, but you can tell when he is now meowing and purring at times, he is content!
We weren’t sure if he’d come around being older then the others but something about him told us not to release him back. So happy we didn’t! 🐾
(We only ended up releasing 4 out of 25 of the ferals). — Its not always easy socializing feral kittens, let alone feral adults but we think this is better then we could have expected.
Chewy spend $100, get $30 egiftcard sale ends tomorrow with code “Mybestie”.
Can you believe we use 122 small cans of kitten food and over 50 medium cans for adults PER WEEK?
*PS - Most of the kittens are feeling much better. Can you tell? 😊🤣
Chewy giftcards or items from our wishlist are always needed while we continue to get the healthy cats ready for adoption.

We are extremely proud of how far Rusty has come in just over 1 month! He is loving being pet during feeding time, he’s even purring now too.
For a feral cat born feral and not socialized until now, this is a really amazing to see such progress. Some ferals don’t ever get this far even if they are in a home 💙
Some of you have asked how Ruby gets around.. So instead of explaining, we thought we’d just show you! 💜
Happy Memorial Day from our youngest! Just a cute, adorable video to brighten your day 🇺🇸
Flipper, our swimmer syndrome kitten, is doing amazing! Our vet took the tape off his legs last week and he now runs/plays/climbs like any other kitten his age. Now, he is just getting stronger by the day. 🐾
To pick the superbowl numbers this year, we used a free online superbowl squares generator. Here’s the video for everyone’s reference. The final sheet with numbers will be posted in a few minutes so everyone can see their numbers!
For those wondering how Mouse is doing now that she is inside, here’s a quick video her caregiver took tonight. She is currently on cage rest and we will be seeing an orthopedic doctor for a consult to see what our options are.
She is currently tolerating petting and we’ve even got her to purr a bit. She does still hiss but we hope its just fear. Time will tell whether she will be considered adoptable.
There has to be one good person who can foster/adopt Frank Jr. We’d really love to rescue him from one of our colonies before the weather gets bad...
He is definitely cat friendly. To our alumni, he is related to Macy, Maizie, Autumn, April, Murphy, Frank & all the kittens of these moms.
Otis had a vet checkup today and got a FVRCP titer! We chose not to automatically revaccinate him due to all his prior health issues so a titer will tell us if he really needs the vaccine or not.
He’s doing so well still and is more then ready for a home. 400+ days in rescue is a long time to wait. He’s a big sweet boy and has many extra toes!
Without more foster homes or adoptions, we can’t rescue more cats in need like Frank Jr. and Mouse. They both are cat friendly and would love to be saved before the cold comes.
This is Mouse. We TNR’d her last year. She is the mom of alumni Luna, Fudge, Oreo & Samoa. She is also sister/cousin to alumni Holly, April, Maci, Autumn, Frank & Murphy. Our volunteer has been working with her and she is now allowing petting and even being picked up.
We want to bring her back in but cannot without a committed foster, preferably adopter. She is great with cats, as she loves the other cats in the colony. It will likely take her some time to acclimate but she deserves a real home before the winter comes!
If interested, please send us a message!
Leia’s kittens are about 3 weeks old. We noticed about a week ago one of the kittens was having trouble using her legs. After a vet visit, she has been diagnosed with Swimmer’s Syndrome. In order to help fix them, they must be taped together at a young age. So here’s our little swimmer working on walking.
