Ryker has been working hard, he added 2 titles this week, his TKI is pending. He also started a 6 week CGCA and CGCU course AND will hopefully pass those tests for 2 more titles.

Ryker is getting closer to his DCAT title, he had a pawsonal best speed of 20.47 mph and 3 out of 4 of his runs were over 20 mph. Hopefully in July we can get Karlee to run. Thank you Brian Batista for capturing my doggos running FastCAT

Miss Karlee has been in Hawaii 1.5 weeks and attended her 1st dog show on Sunday. She won the 1st show and gained a point towards her Champion title.She was handled by a friend who has been a cocker spaniel show breeder for over 25 years as I was on the Mainland. Thank you Misty Little and California Cavalier Company for sending me this girl.

An Embark DNA test on both sire and dam can insure that this terrible genetic disease and others are not passed onto puppies.
Please ask breeders for parents DNA and OFA certifications - heart echo, eyes, patella and Hips before purchasing a puppy.
Breeders not doing these test have a disregard for the health and well being of the breed, the puppies they are producing, and the new puppy families.

All my cavaliers are Embark DNA tested. My last litter of pups were also DNA tested. A small investment. If DNA is unknown on breeding dogs, puppies can end up affected by genetic disorders if each of the parents are carriers.

Good read, all breeding cavaliers should have their eyes tested by a certified ophthalmologist yearly. These results should be submitted to OFA.org so puppy buyers can be assured they are getting a healthy bred cavalier without genetic inherited diseases.

Kelly's Seas the Day in Paradise Karlee will be joining us here in Hawaii on Thursday. She is my show hopeful and comes from Gch lines. One of her littermates is showing in conformation already on the mainland. I highly recommend California Cavalier Company and thank Misty for taking care of this girl for me until she was eligible to come to Hawaii.

Crossing fingers Miss Sammie Jo has a successful breeding with this handsome Gch Blenheim sire who comes from Gch and import lines, we should know in about 25 days. If successful we have a possibility of all 4 colors based on DNA. Both Sammie and Chase are OFA certified Heart echo, eyes, and patellas. I do have a waiting list however if interested in an AKC Cavalier with health tested and DNA tested parents, please pm me for informationto be added to my waiting list. I will hopefully have another litter early spring and possibly summer.
