Petticat Junction Petticat Junction is a happy, homely, secure and caring cattery in Marton, Rangitikei. The cattery is simple and homely with no tiles or concrete to be seen.

Our charges: One cat $14 per day, three or more cats from the same family $12 per cat per day. Longer stays of over 4 weeks will be reduced to $12 per day for one cat, $10 each per day for three or more cats from the same home. We are happy to administer medication if required at an extra daily charge of $1 per cat. We provide a varied option of dry, raw and wet food to suit even the most discer

ning palate. You are welcome to provide your own food if your cat is on a special diet. All our guests must be up to date with their vaccinations for their own protection and that of our other guests. Our cattery is communal with two separate rooms either side of a secure outdoor area. We do have cages available if need be for those guests that prefer their own company or are a little anxious. It is certainly not flash but our guests seem to settle in quickly and soon feel right at home away from home. We cater for up to 10 cats and believe quality should always come before quantity. Our guests' safety, care and well being is my prority. Our guests can snooze on an easy chair in our sunny fully enclosed outdoor area or bask in one of three secure window balconies as they watch the birds and butterflies fly by. For the young or more energetic there are toys, scratching posts along with cat trees and shelves to climb. The cattery is heated in the winter ensuring your loved feline will be cozy and warm. There is a choice of snuggly beds, baskets and cubby holes to curl up in up high or at ground level. I spend a lot of time with our guests to ensure they feel safe and feel right at home. I love taking photos of our guests so their humans will receive regular updates on their furry family member's holiday. Checking in and out:
Monday, Thursday 7.30 - 8.30 am and 6- 6.30 pm. Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday 8.30- 10am and 4 - 5-30pm. Friday: 7 - 8am and 6- 6-30 pm. Sunday : 4- 5-30pm. Please call or message me for any further information or to arrange a visit or booking. Gabby Keen

Hello fellow cat lovers. It's been a while. I have made some major life changes in the aftermath of losing my late husband Steve 14 months ago. On Saturday my dog Mollie, cats Ripple and Taiko and I moved to my new home in Wanganui. It is much closer to my work and I have family and friends there. It was very emotional and hard to leave our lovely wee railway cottage Steve had so lovingly renovated. The good news is Petticat Junction is reopening on December 1st under wonderful new owners Belinda and Kevin. Belinda is passionate about cats and their welfare and will take the very best of care of your feline family members. We are still trying to work out how to swap this page into Belinda's name. I have loved meeting you all and caring for your gorgeous cats. I know you will support Belinda and Kevin just as much in their new endeavour. Petticat Junction Cat Hotel

Petticat Junction is a newly established cattery in the Junction area of Marton in the Rangitikei. We offer your feline friend the very best of care and individual attention in a secure, safe and peaceful semi-rural environment.

Our cages are full height allowing more freedom of movement and comfort. The more sociable cats are free to sun themselves on the window balcony or pick a cubby box to nap in outside in the secure outdoor area, dabble in the water feature or watch the birds fly by.

With only a maximum of five feline guests staying at any one time your cat can be assured of lots of one-on-one tlc and human companionship. We cater for special needs including diet and medication requirements.

My husband Steve and I are the original owners of the formerly named Barkroyal Dog and Cat Lodge in Marton. We are avid animal lovers with one very cat friendly dog Mollie and her cat crew Geordie, Taiko and Ripple.
