Niluroke Sport Horses We are a family run boutique horse training/farming business located in Broadford, Victoria which is approx. 1hr North of Melbourne.

We have a passion for raising, starting and training young stock. We present only a small number of horses to the market each year that we have raised and trained on our 97 acre property. We believe in raising our stock, which is a mix of horses that we have bred ourselves or carefully purchased, in an environment which enables them to mature both physically and mentally in a natural manner i.e. m

ixed age mobs and large paddocks with varied terrain. All young stock develop a strong human connection with age appropriate ground work programs that start at an early age which prepares them for a seamless transition to being started under saddle, by us, on our property. We pride ourselves in producing horses that are well mannered and great to handle on the ground, that have had an optimal and pleasant transition to being started under saddle and then carefully produced in their initial ridden education. We really get to know our horses and we pride ourselves in being open and transparent during the sales process in relation to the strengths and weaknesses of each individual horse. To purchase a horse from us is an opportunity to purchase a horse that has reached that wonderful stage where it has been raised, handled, started under saddle and is physically and mentally ready to find their new home and continue with their ridden journey.

Rolly is beautifully put together being compact and balanced, who shows potential in any performance discipline.
He is an intelligent boy who lovely to work with on the ground. Rolly is friendly and has a good handle on the basics. He leads, ties, stands quietly to have his feet trimmed and walks onto the float. Rolly also knows basic groundwork exercises and shows a willingness to please. He is confident to be stabled and paddocked on his own, but has also been well socialised and grown up in a mixed age mob, roaming over varied terrain.
Rolly has been raised with longevity and a performance career in mind.

It's always exciting to receive photos of one of our lovely youngsters thriving in their new home!
Last weekend we delivered Niluroke Bustamove (Penybrenin Hughbert x Barringa Kyah) to his wonderful new home!
Due to a slight change in direction this year, we have had the pleasure of offering some of our lovely younstock to the market. We were really happy to hand over Busta confident with basic handling, ready to continue with his education.
Busta handled the transition like a pro, and based on the lovely updates from his new owners, he has tackled many new experiences with confidence!
We are so excited to see how Busta continues to grow, he is in great hands in his new home, and we feel he has a very exciting future in front of him!

Abi is a top quality youngster with a sensational temperament, always looking to please.
Well handled, easy to catch, lead, tie and groom. Good to have her feet trimmed and walks happily onto the float. Abi really is an easy and straightforward youngster.
She is confident to be stabled and paddocked on her own, but has also been well socialised and grown up in a mixed age mob, roaming over varied terrain.

**SOLD- Nola has found an incredible new home, we are so excited to see what her future holds**
Welsh D Mare- Westbury Nola

Rising 12yo, appx 14.1 1/2hh. Liver chestnut with 3 stockings and a broad blaze.
If you're after an absolute sweetheart with a temperament to die for, Nola is it! Nola has a cruisy and no fuss outlook on life, who is a pleasure to have around and a tonne of fun to ride! Will make an excellent PC mount or suit an Adult Rider wanting to do a bit of everything.
During her time with us, Nola has given us 2 beautiful filly foals. She was an easy breeder who was straightforward during the whole breeding process and passed on her beautiful nature to her foals.
With our change in breeding direction and the fact we felt that Nola had so much to give to the right person, the decision was made to bring her back into ridden work. After 3 years of maternity leave, she was basically just hop on and go!
Nola is schooling basic flatwork, and with her big and scopey paces will really make a nice picture with a bit more education.
Nola really enjoys jumping, she's fuss free and straightforward and makes a nice shape over jumps. Has schooled up to 80cm in grids.
She has been off property to different venues and is relaxed and easygoing. Walks straight on the float and will stand tied to the float all day.
Nola is great to hack out alone and has been on a trail ride in company. She was happy to walk in front or behind, was happy to have a canter in company but also content to walk on a loose rein.

Video and photos of Nola being ridden by a 15yo PC rider, having their first ride together. This was Nola's first look at XC jumps and at a venue she's never been to before. Nola was sensible and her fantastic temperament shone through.

Salient Park Royal Archer 4yo, appx 14.2hh (un-officially measured) sired by Cwmkaren Tywysog Harri out of Indi Sunday Rose.
Striking looks with plenty of bling! Well grown and is ready to start his ridden career. Roy is an exceptional boy with super movement. His sire needs no introduction in the world of Pony Dressage. We feel Roy will excel in this discipline due to his trainable nature and excellent movement. Roy has been well handled and is a beautifully natured, sweet boy. Would suit someone looking for a potential top-class mount. Definitely one to watch for the future!

We recently said farewell to the beautiful Tilly (Noble Parc Welsh Lady) and her 2024 Welsh D c**t, sold to a fantastic new home and only headed around the corner! We are thrilled for Tilly and look forward to seeing her and her foal flourish in their new home.
Tilly has been apart of our broodmare band for a number of years and produced for us 3 absolutely beautiful foals. We have loved having Tilly in our paddocks, she has such a friendly and gentle nature as well as being a gorgeous bit of bling!

We also said goodbye to the beautiful Myer (Salient Park Ollianda) who undertook a big journey to QLD to continue her breeding career. Myer produced 2 super foals for us, both with excellent movement and huge futures. She is a very special mare with outstanding bloodlines and we are looking forward to seeing what she produces in her new home!

Selling both Myer and Tilly signals a turning point for us in our breeding journey. We will be carrying on with a selection of older stock, and the 2024 Welsh X's that we have bred. Therefore there will be a selection of pure Welsh D young stock coming available, so watch this space!

Ella is an absolute gem with the most sensational temperament. She is an honest and genuine horse who tries hard to please. We have owned Ella since she was a weanling and she has always been easygoing and straightforward to train. Ella has recently been started under saddle and has taken everything in her stride. She is ready to find her next home and crack on!

Ella is a flashy, scopey mover who is working towards Prelim level on the flat. She has athletic and balanced paces with plenty of quality to work her way through the levels. She sits in the contact softly and is responsive to ride.

Ella has been introduced to jumping and has shown to be level-headed (as expected) and also shows plenty of talent in this area, being careful and brave. With more work I feel she will be a very fun horse to jump.

Ella has been ridden off property at local venue and has been a pleasure to take out. She is good to load on the float and is happy standing at the float being tacked up. She is confident riding in new areas whether that may be weaving through trees or cantering out in an open space. She’s shown to be very sensible and level-headed when encountering new situations.

Ella is easy to do anything with and is a pleasure to have around. A genuinely fuss-free little horse!

Due to her experience level (recently started under saddle- appx 6/7 weeks) Ella would best be suited to a rider capable of continuing her education which we feel will be an easy upward journey due to her level headed nature. Perfect for the experienced adult rider or pony clubber with the correct support in place.

5yo Welsh D Gelding sired by Llanarth Goldcup (IMP)
unofficially measured at 147cms (just under PD height)

We have owned Patrick for nearly 2 years and he has been left to mature before starting under saddle and is now ready crack on with!

Patrick has been under saddle for appx 8 weeks and has been an absolute pleasure! He is working competently at Prelim level on the flat and is a soft, uncomplicated ride. Pat has huge, active paces with lovely expression. He is a solid boy who takes up the leg well. This, with his forward paces, makes him ride like a larger horse.

Patrick has begun his jumping education and is showing plenty of enthusiasm, he really enjoys it! He is confident to trot over single jumps and go through a grid.

Patrick has been off property to a local venue and has been a pleasure to take out each time. He is confident and happy to explore a large open space.

Pat is straightforward to ride and is light and responsive off the aids. He really tries hard to please his rider and therefore is just a pleasure to work with everyday. We want to stress that Patrick is incredibly trainable and shows all the signs of being able to progress rapidly in his education.

Patrick is easy to do anything with and is a pleasure to have around. We put a lot of groundwork into our horses and Pat is absolutely great to handle from the ground. He is the complete package of looks, talent and just the sweetest nature.

Due to his experience level (only 8 weeks under saddle), he would be best suited to a rider capable of continuing his education. That said, he may be suitable for the right young rider (with relevant experience) who has the support to continue with Pat's education.

Price: 💲 POA (Mid to high teens as a guide. We are continuing with Patrick's education, the final price will be discussed upon application)

Eddie is beautifully bred, sired by the imported Abergavenny Achilles, who is asserting himself as a sire of top performance cobs, especially in the field of Pony Dressage.
Eddie has been produced carefully and kindly and is working at Prelim level on the flat. He is straightforward to ride with a great work ethic and a willingness to learn. He has excellent quality paces with so much to give as he develops.
Eddie has schooled jumping and has proven to be a willing and enthusastic jumper. He's schooled 90cm in grids and 70cm single fences. He has also schooled simple Xc fences which he definitely enjoys. Eddie is a snaffle mouth when jumping and travels well between fences.
Eddie has been off property to different venues and has been a pleasure to take out.
Eddie enjoys hacking out, especially in company, and has crossed ditches, through water and up and down banks.
On the ground, Eddie is a pleasure to do anything with, including trimming hooves, clip, wash, float.
Eddie has a beautiful nature and temperament.
Eddie would excell at Pony Dressage with a confident rider who will continue his education.
Eddie would also make a wonderful Pony Club mount for a confident and competent junior who has the appropriate support network to continue his education and exposure.

The beautiful JDL Achillied has been gaining more experience off property recently. Eddie is a 5yo Welsh D gelding by the super Abergavenny Achilles. We purchased Eddie as a weanling and he has always been a pleasure to have around with a temperament second to none. Eddie tries hard to please and is straightforward to work with.
Eddie is a serious Pony Dressage prospect, who can also jump! Truly a pony who will be able to do it all.
We are currently preparing an advert and Eddie will be on the market in the coming weeks.
